hmmm let's see where do I start...
let me start with this, I'm 28 year old, and my life has been sucks this month, I've lose my job and many small problem that related to money seems swarming me in the past month making me almost go bankrupt, thankfully my job aren't my real source of money, but still.... getting fired because your company need to slim down it's employee is sucks.
I renting some room in my house (my deceased father house to exact) so I won't have to be afraid of starving at the very least, but I want to start a new life, a whole different life, I have my eyes at affiliate marketing for sometime now, and finally I stumbled upon this forum, now I really have to thx god... and google for showing me this path.

I have some question for all my senior here, please answer it truthfully, I won't be shocked.
first, how many days/months/years it's takes to learn about marketing and SEO ? I do understand we need to find right niche to target our market, how long it takes to total noob like me to get a knack of it ?
and because I cannot find the second question I guess that's it (LOL), this forum has pretty much answering everything to me, ah as a bonus question how many tweeter/fb follower (targeted ones) I must have before I start spamming the product ? (I have the twitter acc but too afraid to start spamming it too soon)

ah just fyi, I have good knowledge about computer programming, php, and such... so I don't need to learn about all of that, I hope that helping me to start with this business. and sorry about the grammar, my country not using english at all.

You could learn the basic SEO stuff in a day or two. As you start working on websites you will continue to learn more advanced stuff from your experience.

But the real task is to take action. You could spend months on this forum reading all the wonderful money making threads and get totally confused on where to start. Or you could just concentrate on one method and take massive action and start making money with in a month.

I do take a action, even when I'm writing this... the problem is to decide on the method, so it's really better to follow one first ?

When I first got started, the way I approached SEO was to build out a basic website, then custom tuned it so that everything matched my niche. for example, if my niche was Lead Condoms (which it was) I would have articles about Lead Condoms, pictures of Lead Condoms, named Lead Condoms, the title of the website was Lead Condoms, anywhere it said the words Lead Condoms, it was printed in bold. So that any person (or search engine) could easily figure out that I was focusing on Lead Condoms, and rank me higher.

After that, it's custom little nitpicking, linkbuilding, and bum marketing. Please don't steal my niche.

Well I have been in the game for three years honestly and have only found this forum in the last 6 months. It has been a life saver. Now I have had my best month ever for IM.
I have almost broke the $1000 dollar benchmark!

You can get some good coaching if you wanted.

It always helps to have someone who knows more than you telling you what
to do next, instead of reading some ebook or watching videos, although these might help.

They just take a real long time. Like a real long time, then the methods could also always be old and rehashed, so they might not even work anymore!

But I totally feel your situation. We where all in that kind of position at
one moment or another, some of us are still there now!

Twitter is dead if your planning to spam it.
They'll just ban.

FB however, is a good game.
Just create some "throw away profiles"
join some huge FB groups
And spam them, this time when you have a
account banned, you can just use another one.
You might want to change your ip address though...

Ha! I just spat some tea on my keyboard reading that. I'm currently working on my own niche "ashtrays for motorbikes". I think with the right SEO i can corner this market.

finally got 10 pic of women(anon), now updating my profile in twitter and facebook and made it more real.

There are some sites which allow you to download tutorials for SEO. You can start from there. Actually, you can learn the basic concepts in less than a week. It is quite easy, though.
