Seriously, just post the link and stop putting extra characters in it, like spaces and asterisks. Besides, I really don't see the point in doing this.

It would make things much easier for everyone.

WTF are you talking about? So the post doesn't get indexed? You mean the link in the post, right?

Some of the links people are posting are links to sites that offer real stuff, not pirated shit, and they are adding extra characters that make it unclickable.

If it's a link to pirated shit then if the link becomes inactive it should just be re-uploaded and posted in my opinion.

No Im not talking about the link in the post Im talking about the actual post man. Google indexes posts on this forum especially ones that mention x**rumer and other programs. So if somebody is asking for a download link or posting one for that matter it can be traced to this forum and the owner of the software or ebook can cause a problem. What do you mean wtf? stop being lazy

Yeah it's necessary to break up the links so the forum stays up.

Other forums bit the dust so we could learn that.

You really don't think the owners of the programs aren't watching forums like this??? I'm pretty certain they have their spys...it's not a private forum.

As for legit links being masked...it is being done, like in this thread here:

Me stop being lazy??? It's not about being lazy it's about functionality of the forum. Maybe some people should stop being so cheap and actually buy programs...especially where the rewards are much larger then program cost itself.

Simple. If its paid and you link you can get in trouble so stick say , after www. . If its free crap just stick normal link. No biggy

I know what your talking about when people put * and blank spaces seems a little overboard and is annoying. But copying and pasting..takes one second to do.

A simplier approach is to replace the http with hxxp and leave everything else alone.

ie. http://www.blackhatworld.com
becomes
hxxp://www.blackhatworld.com

People do not post the links for reasons already mentioned above. Files also tend to last longer that way too.
