Appraised at $139900 on one site, only $6,800 on another. How the hell is there so much of a gap? No traffic since it's not being hosted. Did I waste my money or do I have a chance at selling it?

Either way its only $13 spent for something that might possibly be worth thousands, go for it

net appraisals are usually completely off the right track, get it appraised by a pro broker if you want its real worth...

I like to live dangerously, I'll buy it for $20.

Since it is exact match, what if I made a fanpage, got it on the front page of google for his name (should be easy right?) and put adsense on?

the better the domain, the higher the price, check the latest prices for sex.com :P

The valuation sites you see are complete crap. Automated valuation never works!

And $13 is nothing. You must have thought something and saw the potential, so I would not say its a waste.

I bought a site once with a celebrity's name in it, and it made nothing on page 1. People are looking for information and rumors or shit, not really much money

If I put Adsense on, and maybe amazon affiliate with his movie could I make a good amount of money?

https://auctions.godaddy.com/trpItemListing.aspx?domain=gtavonline.com is valued at 88k lol

I'm also an actor, (reason I joined this site was to try and work from home, so I could have more time to audition) I know his talent agent (not personally) maybe I could call them up and say hey I got your actors website name....pay me 25k and you can have it lol

Never do that, that will open you up to a possible lawsuit. They will say you are squatting on the domain and then tried to get money from them.

the better the domain, the higher the price

WOW! Priceless information here. Thanks Killerfox, we could have never figured that out without you to give us a guiding hand. Please be our salvation.

Thank you for bumping a nonsense thread, with a nonsense reply to a nonsense reply. This is my nonsensical reply.

There is no way you can lose with a low investment like that. Give it to a Broker after they will get hundreds for it for sure!

I'll never understand why people find these trademark domains and think they found a chunk of gold. 99.9% it's fool's gold. The domains are most likely available because the last sap got hit with a cease and desist letter or worst. Offer it to the actor or his agent and they'll slam you with a cyber-squatting infraction if they want it at all.

Don't mess with trademarks or copyrights in domain names. All you're doing is messing with fire.
