I've listed my first product as a seller on jvzoo(ive listed vaultscraper which is linked in my signature).

Now how to go about promote this to potential affiliates? It's my first product I've created which I want to push to affiliates but I'm not sure of where the affiliates are hiding these days!

I've offered 50% of sales to affiliates, roughly $33 per sale which I think is generous but now need to get it out there. Any advice would be great, or you can pm if you need more details or able to offer help for reward etc

Generally sellers on Jv have massive e-mail list of people who promote the products or a large followers who sell it for them. They pretty much all team up and promote each other products etc.

Do you have a sales funnel set up? Upsells, downsells etc.? The launches that get the most affiliates have at least 3-4 products in their sales funnel - the more profit potential for your affiliates the better.

If I were you I'd plan an actual launch with a good sales funnel in place.

I have a good list of launch announcement websites and Facebook groups but I'm not allowed to post URLs yet. I'll try and pm them to you but not sure if I'm allowed to do that either.

If you haven't already done so create a JV page with sales tools for your affiliates eg banners, example emails etc.

Contests are very popular with affiliates - offer cash prizes for affiliates who drive a certain amount of sales to your offer eg 1st prize $500 (minimum 150 sales) etc. Offer prizes to your top 5 or top 10 affiliates.

You could start by listing your product here and gain some affiliates from BHW!

You could post a thread about getting affiliates on a forum loaded with affiliates.

    IM all the way.
50% is not generous, it is the industry minimum. There is nothing wrong with 50% but if affiliates start seeing you call it "generous" they won't appreciate it. Half the cost of most products is the marketing. Affiliates are doing that for you for free, plus they are giving you their paying customers. I don't think you can call 50% "generous."

Get affiliates by cross-promoting. Do you have an email list? You should. Email another JVZoo affiliate and offer to email out to your list promoting their product, if they promote you. Do that, make sales. Rinse/repeat.

That is a good idea but there is a low chance this will work unless your product is super high converting and the affiliate can see they'll make big bucks. They're unlikely to offer bonuses for a $67 product, but then again, I'm not "in" with the JVZoo crowd so they might do that.

What OP should really do is find out what conferences these guys are going to and meet them in person.
