Hi Folks, Now I'm not sure if this is the correct section...pardon me if it's not but I'll fire away. As the thread says, I just got hired by a B2B contact center - where our job is to build and manage relationships with computer software and hardware resellers (sales, contracts, etc.). It's an established and quite a huge company so I'm pretty sure they have their own leads. However, I don't want to get into a dog fight for my share of the leads. Being in this forum for quite some time, I've realized that there's almost nothing that the internet cannot fix. I was thinking maybe I could build a site - 10 to 15 pages maybe - targeting keyword/s that computer / hardware resellers would most likely type in. Throw in an auto-responder to the mix to get their contact details...and call them during office hours. I won't have to cold call since they are pre-sold. And it would be easier for me to make more moolah...and maybe even offer something that's not within the scope of the B2B company (ex. Build a simple and clean WP site for them if they don't have one yet...and I can easily contact them outside office hours.) (Note: I'm a writer so I'm quite confident that I can write good copy...which will get the visitors signing up) Have any of you guys tried this strategy? It's my first time mixing a little bit of IM and the usual 9-to-5. Is there any twist that could make this idea even MORE potent? I'm looking forward to your reply guys. Thanks!
