Hi i want to ask some questions

This morning, I logged in to paypal to replace my old phone number with a new one. And then a friend contacted me asking if I can lend him some money, so I sent $50 to him via paypal as gift.
A few hours later I got a phone call from paypal, they asked some question to verify my new phone number and identity. I answered and they say everything's fine. But then they asked what kind of item I'm selIing on ebay, do I selI products or services... I acted dumb and just said that I got some items from a close out sales for cheap. They also ask if I'm selIing software (which exactly what I'm doing), I of course said no. Finally they said it's ok and there would be no more question.
So what I want to know is, does my ebay account in danger of being suspended? What should I do now? My ebay and paypal acc are fully verified, 3 years old and have 500+ positive feedbacks

Selling a software or a software key? If it's a software, what kind of software is it? Custom made by you?

Not really. I don't see why it will cause your eBay any problems. Long as you been selling legit stuff and had no disputes, etc. you should be fine. PP is in full alert for changes in the accounts, so it's common for them to call to verify.

No you have nothing to worry about. Paypal doing this stuff all the time. They only want to make your account safe.

    Thanks for fast replies

I bought some antivirus software which are on sale from local stores, they are brandnew sealed. But since I'm not living in US so I just send the license keys to buyer. But I do state in the listing description that I would ship the CD or box if any buyers want them.

I do sell legit stuffs but it's still against ebay rules to list digital delivered goods outside classified section. What I'm afraid is why they asked if I was selling software

OP, if they already knew you did this, they would have taken you down by now. They tend to post the question sometimes when they contact a PP member for the first time. It's good that you told them you sold close out items. It's just a testing question they ask to see how you respond. But on a serious note, look for other things to sell as well. You never know!

You have nothing to worry about with this. When you change information they enjoy asking questions and making
    sure everything is okay.
