just found out i'm banned from ac

My guess - the guy that wrote that book, they got him in trouble for something and then forced him to divulge who he sold it to as part of the remedy. Hence, how they "know" everyone who bought the book.

don't tell me pple were dumb enough to use black hat email addresses with their ass content profiles...:blah:

They did you a favor - send them a thank you letter and move on. Sometimes people aren't smart/strong enough to stop a bad habit by themselves; they need encouragement. AC is the drug pusher, you're the drug user and they just cut you off; get in a recovery program that makes you money instead of just trading time for dollars. You can do that shit anywhere. It's building projects that run themselves and make you money without your time that will get you where you want to be. If your idea of making money is trading time for dollars then IM isn't for you. You can do that shit at McDonalds or any other j.o.b.

I haven't used A/C in quite some time. I returned to the account to consider posting up fresh content and suddenly received a banned notice.

After some back and forth with their legal department I received this email.

Code:
[FONT=&quot]Your account on Associated Content was flagged, and suspended automatically because our records show that you purchased a guide on how to scam Associated Content. After reviewing your account, it is clear that you adapted methods outlined in this guide and therefore, we will not be re-opening your account.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]You have opened at least two or more accounts, an action which clearly violates our MLA and TOU. We have automatically suspended your additional accounts.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Additionally, we will be reviewing the content you submitted that was published on Associated Content to see if any of it violated copyright laws. You agreed to indemnify AC for any financial damages it incurs because of your breach of section 7 of the Master License Agreement. Accordingly, in the event that AC is sued because of your violation of a third party?s intellectual property rights, please be advised that we will look to you to recoup any of these financial damages, including?but not limited to?any attorney's fees incurred defending the action. [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]

[/FONT]Paying careful attention to the part where it says "I purchased a guide" the irony of all of this.. is for all the guide purchasing and such it claims... I've never used content I didn't own the rights to or come up with myself, and I personally never opened multiple accounts. Redtide apparently rolled over on everyone.. so if your not banned start running now.

As for me.. I rarely visit these forums anymore and I find it far less stressful and far less time consuming doing things legitimately then black hat... .Its just far to much trouble. that being said I'm removing my account from these forums... good luck to everyone

I noticed one of my accounts was banned today, TOC violation or some such vague nonsense. I just went to a standby, duplicate account that had the same info, photo, confirmed a different email to the same PP account, and submitted an article. We'll see if it gets banned too, but at least I slapped back.

ANTICIPATE foreseeable problems, and make the adjustment, that's just good business planning. If the article approval rate is no longer 90%, but more lke 30%, scale your daily profit expectations accordingly, and have backup plans to monetize your articles (PLR, blogs, etc). Don't mope, re-position and cope.

Dude that is so messed up with him giving away all of his sales records. Notice how he hasn't signed into the forum in almost a month? You guys that had a bunch of content better watch out for when they trace everything. I had less than 5 articles on that shit site, all of which were original because I was testing the waters. But I'm sure they'll closely scrutinize you all and try to get repayment if they can prove it.

Everyone just got shit on.

Try this out, post something like this to their site. Yes, this is a new article you can use.

For many years, people have been searching for something better. Utopia, or something like it, is what they want. Cars, boats, houses, they are all part of that search for the Utopian society. Kind of funny how those who want all these things will not admit it if asked, they are "above it". Younger people really should look to avoid such altruistic intentions, as it can lead you down the wrong path. Or, at the very least, cause you some problems. Utopia is just a myth, and is unlikely to exist in any form that you imagine.

All I know is that people need to strive for what they believe in, not what others tell them they should be looking for. Care should be taken to make sure you are not falling down this alternative path, because at a later date you might really regret it. You should also pay attention to the people you associate with, as that can be a hindrance as well.

On many occasions, it might be said that restraint is better than outright action. Under certain circumstances, it can also be argued the opposite is equally effective. Such is the state of the world today, nothing is for certain, and no one knows what will happen next. Utopia should not be your ideal goal, nor something to which you compare your own life to. Circumstances state that going down the right path most of the time, rather than the wrong path, lead to much happier times. Kind of blows your mind when you figure it out.

@ Kodiak Apprentice - Umm let's clarify, I would never roll over on anyone. The people that have been following along I'm sure figured out AC were trying to crackdown when this broke out a month ago. Let's just say Ive had my hands full with lawsuits, PI's, and AC's attorneys. I've got to pick words carefully, but let's say they came to battle with all guns blazing and multi million dollar pockets.

@ everyone - I hate being put in the position but I haven't been able to respond to PM's, emails or anything as part of the PI. For those of you that have been a part of this subforum awhile we pretty much knew that AC were keeping track of each of these threads, and every word we said. I bet half of the 70K+ views on the made $30 thread are them.

It definitely sucks that they're cracking down but to me it was inevitable with how popular the thread got. What's ironic is that 80% of what we talk about in that thread is actually WH, (submitting quality, keyworded content rather than blasting them with software spun crap, driving page views w/o using fake traffic, building long term residual income for AC, umm building serious amounts of long term income for AC) ahem, but loss of revenue goes both ways I guess.

You guys commenting about using it as a stepping stone are so right. I'm looking at it as take what I've learned about SEO and the huge role of online content, move on, and get my head wrapped around CPA/PPC like I've wanted to for awhile. I've made a bunch of great friends here and love this place but one important lesson I've learned is drawing the line carefully with the level of advice you give in an open public forum.

Regards,

Red
