Screen smashed can still use touch screen though
must be a fake. the real iphones never break...
ebay, iphone digitizer, like 20 bucks with the tool included
Yeah okcool will check it out. And yeah it is a legit phone! Dropped onto concrete. Face down..
Yah i broke mine, 100$ for a new screen.. didnt know you can get it that cheap
i did that when mine broke. lol had to get a new phone, that thing was a pain to install. its like 2 layers of glass, sealed together. imho, find someone local on craigslists that fixes them.
If the touch part is working the digitizer isn't broken so I wouldn't buy one lol. Your screen LCD needs to be replaced. It's possible the digitizer is cracked as well but I'd never know without seeing the phone.
you can find alot of videos on youtube too on how to do it..
I have a friend who does it and he's kinda dumb so i guess anyone can do it
i wish mine will never break
Found a few different options on ebay... does anyone know if the digitiser is part of the screen, or is that the touch screen element below the glass? If so, that's all working fine, it's literally just the glass cover that has smashed, so hopefully it wont be such a difficult repair job.
ouch! I would be sad if that happened. I didn't know people fixed screens for so cheap though; good to know.
Oh, if you want I can sent you an offer for a "Free iPhone 3gs" lol
Seriously though, hope ya can get it fixed..
I'm damn lucky that I bought a case, didn't knew it could break so fast.
HAHA must be something in the air as smashed my one too!
Screen is in bits, but all still works and as it has a screen protector on it the screen is still in place... will look up about getting a new bit of glass if I can.... was going to change to the newer iPhones anyway so might just go get an upgrade.
From what I see on the old 2G units you need to replace the whole screen and its costs a lot more than on the 3Gs where you can just replace the glass... tell me if I am wrong?
I still have a 4gig 2G,I'm honoured that I didn't break it yet.
There are loads of ways you can fix them, but my advice is to take to a professinal and just get them to fix it for you, they'll supply everything, do it for you and you just pay, easy and simple.
You can get a free ipod like I did on this link here ....
or you could win one with this link too happydays !!!
