Just claim your broke - $5k in a week possible?

Yeah, yet another begging thread at the warriorforum. This is why I never post over there. I like the occasional webmaster's tip that makes it way through - mostly technical stuff that's news-related like what Google is up to or whatever. But this begging shit really gets on my nerves. Especially when she's having her friend Kim do the begging for her. Both these woman have positioned themselves as marketing experts for years. Kim even has a membership site about making money from membership sites. So obviously, that must be working really well for her if she can't afford $5000 to send to her friend living in Hong Kong.

Also the woman they're begging for, Bev, supposedly sold all her belongings in the UK and moved to Hong Kong with her husband, and they were living with a friend. Then the friend "is planning to get married" so now they're forced to live in hotels.

What? Like they weren't smart enough to have firmer housing plans before they packed up their lives and moved over there?

And wtf - if they sold their house or whatever, weren't they watching their budget?

And more wtf - if they started running out of money, shouldn't they have moved back home before they had to start begging for money?

And the best part is that Bev (the one getting the money) absolutely is a santimonious cow who can never do anything wrong - yet she'll pick everyone else apart ruthlessly like a psychotic, fussy librarian type.

Really, there is a shitload of money to be made begging at that forum. All you need is a good sob story. Screw selling ebooks as WSO's.

"1) Allow us to go back to China and get our belongings that we have left with friends.

2) Look at options for the future, which will include a trip back to the UK to visit my mother. The last time we were back there was in Sept 06.

3) Have some breathing space.

4) Not have to be so concerned that because of us having everything go to our UK account we don't have to earn 50% more to get the same income to spend.

5) Most importantly (should have been No 1) shown us what wonderful friends we have here on the warrior forum."

$5k pi$$ed up the wall then.

I thought the WF was going to nuke every money begging post from now on. But wait, here comes an old member that needs a hand. So there is the exception. It makes me sick to see the double standard.

Oh, and just for your information, some history. This same woman had someone crying for help for her a couple of years ago, too. It created a lot of controversy when she got outed in a post by someone else as a former begger that also took advantage of Warrior's good nature and willingness to help. Especially since she was complaining about someone else's begging post and basically telling them tough life, get over it. So, she relpies that the firesale back then sold one or two items only. Riiiight.

Good post. Do you have a link to the other member, or thread what happened? So how much did she raise back then?

Look at this thread from oct 08
http://www.warriorforum.com/main-in...ichael-tracey-desperately-needs-our-help.html

Same Scam. Same Circle-jerkers involved.

"Mike, I am actually in tears right now. Michael has been so kind to me and
then my wife comes home and tells me a woman she worked with, 42 years
old, died from a heart attack. She had a 5 and 8 year old sons.

There is way too much sadness in this world and some days it's more than
I can handle.

If this forum is as great and giving as I know it is, Michael will have that
20K by tomorrow at this time.

Bet on it."

F@ggot.

Heh heh. I was trying to search the old warrioforum (back before they updated it a year or so ago? And moved the archives.) Looking for the prior begging thread an earlier poster mentioned but haven't a clue where it is. I'd love to see it to catch those harpies in another one of their begging schemes.

I did find this one funny thread that a warrior with a fair amount of sense posted. He was annoyed at all the recent begging threads (there were a bunch back then, too.)

The thread is called

"Need help for my dying cat, and bunions"

http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=170812

By the way, to search the older forum you have to go into google and type warriorforum plus the keyphrases and that will often bring up material from the archived, earlier stuff.

Just seems a big con. Presume Waggenheim or Standerline will fall on hard times in the near future.
You are right, Bev Clement is a self-righteous biatch. Maybe identifying scams has made her create her own.

nah, BHW also do get begging threads, begging for methods. many guys here fall for this, they go like ''oh wow, you're moving to Amerika, I did that 2 years back.. well come to amerika man, you need $5k? here's a tip to make cash-do domain flip, make it and flip it''........I've seen Jr Vips falling for it.. and I get flamed usually for calling the bluff..

I was on that forum asking for help 2 years ago. They blasted me and banned my old account.

Cr@p forum, just full of do-gooders, who in turn are scammers. Just look at the WSO's section. Not a single bad review there at all. Ummm...

If they're missionaries, why doesn't their church help them out? That's what we do........

Warrior forum is obviously /FAIL/ if their members can't even rake in 5k end of month.... I have ZERO sympathy for them.

Shit man, I can't even estimate how much money I have given away to people who needed help. What comes around goes around.

I had my world ROCKED by the feds and my business partners. In literally in a week I lost my business, my house in the Hollywood hills, my friends, my career, and almost my freedom and found I had gone from rockstar to $60,000 in debt to a lawyer that had my freedom in his hands.

If you live in Hollywood, drive by 7523 Hollywood blvd, I sat on the steps of that building trying to figure out what the fuck I was going to do, losing as much as I lost in the amount time I lost it (days) was enough to make someone do something drastic - bank robbery, suicide..

I went up on the roof of that building to grab wireless access on my laptop (about the only thing I had left) and I went to a forum, a forum of crooks basically (it no longer exists) and I posted one of those posts that I see on here all the time "Willing to put in some work, will do whatever, in dire financial straights". I was blown away, I got PM after PM from people offering up goods, money, and one person who I became friends with for years, bought me a plane ticket and wired me enough money to start over.

The majority of the PM's came with some kind of message like "I've been there.." etc.

Ok you can put away the violins now, but keep in mind, your life can change in an instant.. As long as you aren't lying or committing some kind of fraud (like acting like a chick begging for money) then I have no problems helping people out. I have sent a pay pal or two to a couple members here.

will have to pass by there one day and see that building, you mentioned.
