At 17 you're still in school so you have a LOT of free time on your hands. This is the best moment in my opinion to invest that time into learning and trying to build something (may it be website or whatever) for your future.

I'm at my last year of university now and i guarantee after you finish the 5 years of Italian high school you won't have that much free time ever again, wether you start university or working. So don't waste it.
