is that possible? I got a blog with lots of posts. I am trying to rank all these posts to first place. I had 1 page ranking at 3 - 4th spot. 2 hours ago it was still there but now I check in google and it's gone. I haven't spammed alot of backlinks lately. Now I am wondering if that is possible that google just deindexing 1 post? Or do they usually do the whole website at once? Since this is sucking bad. I hope someone else knows what's happening.
do you mean its not indexed anymore or did it just loose its ranking? I had pages deindexed on my website but that was because of dead links on the page!
I am talking about just 1 post. Other posts are still indexed as well as my pages. It didn't drop rankings, but it's totally deindexed. I am sure of that. The link was not dead.
It is an overoptimization penalty. A combination of too-high keyword density and all yoru anchor texts being too similar has penalized the page. You can verify this by taking text on the page and searching for it in exact quotes, but you can't find it. However, you can type site:domain.com with exact quote and you find it. To get the page out of penalty, rewrite it and remove some of the keyword density. Also continue linking to the page, but use more varied anchor text. It is an algorithm penalty, soon as you fix it your page will instantly come back. I've had pages penalized for years like this that come back when doing what I just said to do .. so this has been going on with Google for a very long time.
Thanks for that answer, I'll try that. Maybe it is because I fucked up with the title a bit. I made it way too long by accident with the standard title and a plugin.
I can't find the link anywhere, except for when I go directly or click through my own blog. Not with site and not between quotes.
It's pretty weird.. I was since my post is deindexed playing around a little bit with a new theme. 1 hour later I asked my friend like" argh fuck my site is deindexed blabla" and he checked with site: without www and he said what r you talking about its there. Then I checked and indeed it hard 3rd spot again. Then I put up my old theme again, to check and within 1 minute it was gone, and not findable with site: anymore as well.. So I supose it is my theme that's not right i don't know. Tho it was pretty weird it was removed within a minute from 3rd spot to nothing again lol. I'm glad it's fixable tho.
