    This will hurt google a lot. Don't know whether its a good thing? I suppose it depends what parameters they can request information under - does it have to be a matter of national security?

    Or can they request a copy of joe blogs inbox to proove he was steeling cream donuts from the local quicky mart?

    You kind of forget to mention the fact that google WILL challenge that decision.
    DonĀ“t underestimate google in this case.

    Yes google will definitely love to challenge this type of decisions and also even they can prove themselves to come up.

    Even if you don't live in the US, I guess the US government could share info with your country's government.
