Never too long in one place.
Looks like VAT might have been added. You in Europe? Try another IP.

Same i didn't pay VAT on my 1st JnR VIP purchase but since BHW is a registered business they are required by law to pay VAT for the countries in a VAT zone.

Normally your country takes the VAT. IP change may work, but not sure because your paypal/credit card may be from your country.

As far as I'm aware, if BHW is registered in the UK then unfortunately although technically correct this isn't the case when it comes to BHW.

If BHW is registered as a business then donation, gift, w/e, is still taxable. If BHW is registered as a charity (highly unlikely) it would still have to pay VAT on the donations as you get something in return. When it comes to charities, they can take donations VAT free only if the donor doesn't get anything in return.

    Code:

Nobody likes the tax man. Please refrain from giving tax advice unless you know what you're talking about. I'm sure BHW has professionals employed to guide them legally to right and wrong regarding tax law. The forum has changed hands over the years so because you weren't taxed previously doesn't mean it was correct interpretation of the tax code. I know we all don't like to pay taxes but if taxes are due then don't blame the company that is legally bound to collect those taxes. Complain to your Government.

you can always ask somebody from the US to pay for your upgrade if you don't want to pay VAT, but i reckon if you're willing to pay $97, that $20 won't make too big difference

It's not an increase. It is VAT which is a legal requirement. VAT doesn't go into the owner's pockets.

If you're in Europe and it added VAT on, don't forget you can claim it back if your company is VAT registered.

I remember I had to pay the full price (incl. VAT) back in April 2012 when I upgraded to Jr Vip.

Dude, you're a retard for 2 reasons. First for getting angry over something like this and then for not reasoning so well.

I said "it's always been like that" because I thought BHW was always a registered company. Since they started offering VIP membership long time ago, they also had to take charge VAT as well, that's what I thought. Then, my point in that post was to show you the red note that VAT is added, but no you can't read.

Well first of all I didn`t insulted you, I tryed to come on same level but it seems we can`t, and secondly nobody will know what you "tought" if you don`t say it in words.

Just let it go, there is no need to argue about this and the questions has been answered by fellow members.
Please a moderator close this, the problem is resolved.

I'm pretty sure you can spare a measly $20 for the amount of quality information BHW provides.

No offense but you should of said "it's always been like that from when I first registered". Calling someone else a retard when you clearly had no clue is, well, retarded. And just because "paid" membership was offered a long time ago, it doesn't mean VAT was required. VAT isn't required unless a business has a turnover in the thousands.
