At last I have some courage to start a journal for Gold Trading. I am in Forex Trading since 2006 and honestly I have stopped and restarted trading for a few times. Even though I am quite well versed with forex trading, but trading itself requires more than knowledge. Everytime I thought I had the winning strategy, but in the end I gave it all back to the market.
I start learning harder, and this journal is about my journey to motivate myself not to give up.
So far what I have done:
1. Sign up with forex broker that offers low spread on Gold (XAUUSD), it gives me as low as 10pips spread. It is important also to have high leverage (1:2000).
2. Money management. It is all about fund preservation. I love to start it small ($30) and make it all the way up. So in the beginning the risk will be higher because I don't have enough margin. The journal is to turn the small capital into a bigger one then preserve it.
This is so far my result:
Day 1: Deposited $30.65, Profit $8.52, Balance $39.17
Day 2: Profit $25, Balance $64.17
Day 3: Profit $5, Balance $69.17
Day 4: Profit $33.44, Balance $102.61
Day 5: Profit -$25, Balance $77.61
I will post the result on a daily basis until I reach the goal of $10k capital.
