[JOURNEY] Trading Forex to Consistent Profits

So I just read whole journey of yours and noticed some things that shouldn't be there. Never ever think that you cracked this shit. NEVER. Also I don't know if you are using basic technical analysis techniques or not but you should respect the market. I saw that you took trades when it wasn't near any resistance or support level. No order blocks nothing. The liquidity grab tool you out most of the times.
By increasing your risk to 2%, you let emotions lead you. Remember: 1% Stop loss and 3% Take Profit should be good to make it a profitable week! Not satisfied? Use price range to see the recurring patterns of buys and sells in past few hours or days. Measure it and put take profit as per the pips measured. For the stop loss, always go with 1%.
DON'T rely on any single method. Learn to use indicators. DON'T trade while big news announcements. DON'T trade when you notice consolidation. Good and complete candles with momentum are your friends. Use trend lines, remember candle paterns etc. You might that they don't matter but they do.
Good luck man.

hey so i've actually backtested a decent amount using fxreplay and tradingview back when i was doing this journey

one of the things i've realized is that squeezing out a 1-3% monthly profit consistently is very hard to do in forex trading. it's possible to accomplish but the amount of effort is a lot and takes a lot of testing. i also believe that a mechanical system probably isn't going to be the path forward and that the only way to get those consistent profits is that you have to trade discretionarily

all in all, i've determined that the amount of time, effort, and investment to make profit was just too high for what i was looking for. i'm looking for a business model that i can implement and start seeing profit within 3-6 months, trading didn't offer that to me. that's why i basically decided to stop trading

it's a very simple analysis. i spent some time on the business model, it didn't produce me any money, so i dumped it and moved on
