Journey towards financial freedom: Youtube + Amazon

Hi,

Few people say the method is saturated now but i thought i will try this method myself. I have got great success in amazon with only 2 videos of a friend of mine.
Henceforth i will be creating my own videos through fiverr or other sources and upload them to youtube. I want to see how this performs without doing keyword research.

1) Select a popular product. I am not doing keyword research here and hence i am not focusing on ranking my videos. I just pick up few products mostly talked upon in youtube.


2) Get review videos using fiverr. Will be switching to other sources after a while. Since my budget is low, i would be starting with 1-2min videos.


3) Throw high retention views, likes to the videos.


I already uploaded a video on 24th Sept. YT views and likes are already delivered. Total invested for this video is $25. I wont do more videos till i see how this single video performs.



Sept 27th - I see one sale already. The item isnt shipped yet, so i guess the commission isn't credited still. However the product bought was not the one i was targeting. Anyway, sale is a sale.

 

Awesome. Takes money to make money sometimes. And for guys who don't want to do it themselves, paying others to do the work is sometimes the fastest way to financial freedom! Wishing you the best.

hey profseo, congrats for sale, quick newbie question: when you say product review video is it a video of a person saying 'i tried this product, it's great etc.' or is it a video of the product itself like 'this product features this, this and that and is better etc' ?

Its very hit and miss

With this method you will probably need to pick high end products

Congrats on the sale. Good thing about this method is that your Amazon ref cookie will be on their computer for a few days so if they buy something, even if its not the product you are promoting, you still get credit for it.

Question: Are you linking them directly to the Amazon product or to your website?

Got 2 more sales for the month of Oct 2013.

Quick Update:

Still going with only 1 video. No sales gotten in December. I have throwed some low quality backlinks from GSA. It seems to be working as i see the video in first page of youtube for my keyword.

Got 2 sales today. So the total sales till today(From the start) is 4.

Hey. The same question here.... I am wondering how u insert ur affiliate links? u drive visitor to ur website, then to amazon page? or straight to amazon sale page?? would u plz a bit more specified here?? thanks a lot

 

I insert my affiliate link in description. The link will like http://amzn.to/874kgtest . This is URL shortner from Amazon itself. This redirects to amazon page. Is this still direct link? I am not sure. Or should i use some other kind of redirect?
