I'm not judging you, just wondering why someone should not try antidepressants before diving into drugs?
There are various types of them, SSRIs, SDRIs, NDRIs, etc etc that increase the amounts of dopamine, serotonin and norepinephrine in brain depending on their purpose.
I don't agree about their addictive effect. Yes it' hard to come off antidepressants, but not because of addiction, but because of dependence! (more info on Wikipedia ;) ). Generally speaking, antidepressants are not addictive (though some like Retalin are!). The bad thing about addiction is that you'd crave for more and more of something over the time, otherwise there would be no reason to not get addicted!
Ok, enough to advocate antidepressants :D The bottom line is that depression sucks and it also ruined some good years of my life.

Wish you better days : )

Good luck Billy. You can do it mate. You are an inspiration to many people on here, me included. Be an inspiration to yourself. I know that none of us will make you less lonely, but there are a lot of people on BHW that are here for you if you need anything. Keep it up! The first 7 days is a long time, it is the hardest time, you have got this far, you can do the rest.

    Good luck buddy

Man it's just a different point of view and a different way to deal with pain. Even if i'm a fucking degenerate when i get loose (not on Billy's level tho) when i get back to "normal" i understand that any kind of "thing" that you take to help you with whatever issue, is unhealthy.

The BEST way is to never take anything in the first place. Our body is designed to clean himself, the brain is a bit different and bit harder but basically it's just like that.

If you really think about it (this is my point of view) EVERYONE IS ADDICTED TO SOMETHING, someone is addicted to heroin, someone to the gym, someone to netflix. But the more healthier is the addict to the gym, in the end, you just have to be addicted to something that doesn't harm you, something that doesn't "force" you to become healthier, just like antidepressant or things like that.

BUT as i said, this is my opinion.

    Have a great day!

As i said, i would understand you.

I drink, but i never took pills it's like a joke from me but...they scare me. Waking up after a black out is so fucking disturbing, the problem is: you know you're gonna blackout but you just don't give a fuck about it ahahahah

You know ONE thing that you could do? Break all the bottles of alcohol you have in your house. I know it may hurt, but, for now, or put them somewhere not in your home or break them. You know, i used to hide a bottle of alcohol (gin, whisky, rum etc. etc.) and just think "I'll leave it for a bad day".

I don't know if you do it, but that tought really fucked me up, because it's like you're already expecting something bad to happen.

And obviously, unless you have a specified illness, throw, no BURN all your pills.

Maybe you already did both, but if you didn't do it if you want.

For me, working out and fighting was a really key factor, when you think you can handle the training of your gym go back for it. I know it's hard, but it can really help you, mentally and phisically, i normally have a really high blood pressure, during MMA i wasn't anymore.

You don't have to push so much in the beginning, just start.

    Have a great day Billy!

Maybe, maybe not, the issue about talking about these things online is you always have haters and people that judge, luckily for me I arrived at a point IDGAF about these guys anymore simply because I've helped several people which makes my day.

I already lowering sugar intake due the fact I've been diagnosed with T2 diabetes 2 years ago but really didn't care much about it but it's time I do ;)

Scrap the "yet" stay far away from both, if it get's you in it's grasp it's very hard to break free from ;)

Thanks for the nice words man. I've heard several times over the years I inspire people but really never think about it because you most of the time don't know but when I do read it it's always nice :)

I actually intend not to blackout but it also came sooner every time and I have an incredible active brain and my memory has a very wide span all the way back when I was 4yo so it was really frustrating to literally can't remember any of the past 2 hours or so of the night before.

I don't have any alcohol in my hourse, the only alcohol I always had I would buy and finish on the same day. I'm not worried about the pills, they are IF I would get an anxiety attack but I'm not addicted to them so don't worry about it.

Today I'm 9 days sober, physically feeling little better but mentally it's chaos ATM but yeah, first day of more focusing on work which also means a different schedule. No BHW during the day, only in the morning to check messages and reply and at night when I'm done for the day, peace!

Do go to Vipassana meditation centre if you can.
That's the best advice you'll ever get.
I've watched a person suffering from migraine get better after a ten days at the meditation centre.

Ok imma give you the best advice that will change your life:

You dont expirience reality as it is. You experience filtered reality that your mind created for you to cope. Once you raise your awareness, you'll find happiness.

    No sugar
    No porn
    Be active
    Meditation
Bla bla bla... it's all important and you should definetely do it, but its so unnatural and difficult to a depressed person to do. You should WANT to do it but because you're in a shitty state it will be inner battle everyday.

What you need to do before you making all your plans is to heal your spirit. How do you do that?

    Microdose magic mushrooms.

    Do your own research.
And yeah its might be illegal, but there comes a time when a man stop being a bitch and prioritize his own life over his messed up conditioning.

Yeah, when you are depressed it is true that It's very hard and difficult to do anything!
I heard about micro-dosing magic mushrooms helped to a lot of people in this situation, but I'm not sure that it will help to everyone... That's very depend on your own mindset and not everyone can handle that.

Good luck bro, your methods have stucked in my mind for very long and now that I turned 18, I can't wait to find the time (meaning fixing my fking schedule :p) to try them. Since I'm not an action maker (yet) and I have became a research master (fml) I will do some digging for you to find the best tips to help you with your rehab journey. And again thanks for the goldmines you have shared

    THank you for the positivity.

    THanks my little German brother

Yeah, until now I keep coming back :D

So.. what you're saying that everyone that struggles in life is a bitch? Here I thought growing up alone from my late teens to adulthood between drug addicts, dealers and other mental cases, being often homeless or incarcerated and I still not lost my mind or addict to heroin and still come out the way I did made me a warrior :( you killed my positivity..(jk ;) )

I already well aware of mushrooms but I'm planning a trip to an ayuasca resort in the future.

I did quite some mushrooms back in the day gheghe best is not to do it alone :p

Thanks man, really great to hear such things. I wrote all these long threads with one thing in mind, if at least one person learns from it or helps him/her in their life I'm happy.

Anyway, sick of my country and it's BS political chaos at the moment so in an impulsive buy bought a ticket for a week in Budapest Hungary, work a bit and clear my head a bit.

I rent a room through AirBnB from some Hungarian girl which should be interesting, never used AirBnB before.

I indeed tried a lot, I'm also at a age you think a lot about things ah well, for now still sober which has and continues to be a real challenge. Take care.
