YouTube - 1156 subscribers (+212)
I've had lots of success recently. My powerhouse video is on FIRE and it's at almost 150,000 views. Meanwhile I tried to set some more videos like that up, and it so far has not shown any results. I guess I will be patient. I have noticed that my videos are getting a lot more views in a shorter time now. It's really impressive in my opinion how much I'm doing.
- Producer's new album came out, I successfully ranked my video #2 for his new release (I should be #1 soon as I have a lot more views than #1, and people tend to click on videos with more views)
- I'm trying to rank old songs because people still search for that kind of stuff, it seems to be working pretty nicely
Facebook - 23 likes (+2)
Nothing special
Twitter - 41 followers (+8)
Nothing special
SoundCloud - 152 followers (+22)
Nothing new, just reaching out to more producers.
Instagram - 2081 followers (+518)
FollowLiker is doing great, I haven't found a way to track how many people are going to my YouTube channel via Instagram... I'm going to use a link shortener to better track it.
I re-thought the idea of writing a bunch of content, because people generally don't search search engines for music, usually just SoundCloud and YouTube, so I'm going to make this into more of a social journey rather than a SEO one (I think I'm proficient enough in both enough to be able to do both, but I just don't have time)
Current plans:
- Make friends with artists
- Upload "powerhouse" songs that will get me lots of views long-term
- Get in touch with content creators and show them copyright-free tunes from my channel
- Make ~20 more Instagrams auto-posting content (hands-free growth)
[how do I scrape photos efficiently, I don't want to be posting some girl's selfies??]
