Being inspired by these latest threads 1, 2 and 3, I decide to track my progress for this method on this thread. What I did so far: Found a niche on Aliexpress, build the site on Wordpress using Woocommerce and this theme. Used a branded domain name. Created a logo in Photoshop, used some vector icons from the web, i think it looks ok for now. Added 4 products from the same supplier. 3 products had images on Aliexpress without watermark, of the other one (the one I promote), I had to contact the seller directly and ask for images without watermark. He said he will send me some on my email but until now I did not receive anything so I decided I will promote the product with watermark in it. Set the product price to $0.99 and shipping to $9.95. Started a Facebook ad with broad audience, basically young females, US. Set the ad to link to my product page URL, budget #3 daily, "Optimised for Conversion" ad. For now, I think I have some issues with my ad as it is not updating any stats, but I have read over the web that i takes a bit to update so, hopefully, it will today. What I think I need to improve: Spend less time building the site - I think I spend most of the day customising the theme, while it is a good idea, i focused on stupid stuff that takes time but in the end makes the site unique and branded. It is a problem with all the sites I build (i do web design mostly) so it's more of a habit I think. What is the next step: I need to see how it goes with the ads, I invested $3 daily budget for now as this is my first experience with Facebook Ads. Once I see the ad rolling, I will try different variations and test the audience and which ad will get me the best ROI. Also, I need to figure out the situation when someone will buy multiple products. I saw guys mentioned shipping by weight but I am not sure how to do that in Woocommerce, but I will sort it out obviously. Disclaimer: I am not going to quit this journey not having any profit from it.
