    Hello!

I have been thinking about creating a reselling business for a month but never had the investment money that would be needed to make it work. But that did not stop me from brainstorming on how I should build my business. Finally, this Tuesday, I will have the investment money so I decided to post my journey thread today.

This is my first journey here on Blackhatworld so tips on how to keep it nice and tidy is warmly welcomed.

I hope you will find something useful in this journey and that we can share tips, ideas, methods, tools and so on.

    My plans for Tuesday:

    1. Buy a hosting service from Hostwinds and buy a domain. I've heard lots of bad reviews on GoDaddy so I won't be using them this time. Suggestions on domain sellers are welcome.
    2. Set my website up. (There was a great guide about how to set a Wordpress website up from scratch here on Blackhatworld but I can't find it. If you know which thread I'm talking about, please link it here.)
    3. Find a good and easy payment system and implement it.

Namecheap is the best, they respect your rights and won't take down your domain at the drop of a hat

    • Thanks Thanks x 2

Thank you for the suggestion, I will probably go with Namecheap.

Right now, I don't want to say what I will be reselling. Maybe I will do that later. Thanks!

    Thanks.
Thanks. Right now, I won't say what I'm going to resell. I might do that later on.

Best of luck mate, what exactly are you going to resell? BTW, Fiverr Gigs are best option for you.

    Goodluck with your journey.

Hopefully there's enough room for profit with whatever you're reselling

Will you be reselling physical items or "online only things"?

I will be selling online services.
Thanks! If my calculations are right, there should be lots of profit.
Thanks, I will not resell Fiverr services but I will sell on Fiverr.

EDIT: I just started building an following on Twitter to later on advertise my service there once it reaches a good amount of followers. I'll be using the "Making Money with Twitter" method written by Numbuh 362. It can be found here on Blackhatworld.

[h=1]2014-09-30[/h]I am extremely tired today as I barely got any sleep last night so I decided to not work much on the website today. I prefer to work when I've had enough sleep and am alert.

    Things I did today

    • Buy a domain
    • Buy a hosting service
    • Create 4 emails for different purposes
    • Install a theme
    • Add a coming soon/under construction plugin

    Profit:
    Hosting Service -$6,50 USD
    Domain -$9,84 USD

    Total: -$16,34 USD

TIP: Keep a piece of paper close to your bed. I noticed that I got lots of great ideas when I was about to sleep.

Why didn't you used a coupon at godaddy to spend only 1 dollar on the domain?

I wanted WhoisGuard and that's free on Namecheap so I just bought one there and used some 10% off coupon. GoDaddy adds an extra charge for WhoisGuard as far as I know.

I set my website up today. Added plugins, contact page, other pages and lost it all because of a hosting error that was quickly fixed. But the website data was gone so I had to redo it all.

    Things I did today

    • Add pages to my website
    • Add plugins and set them up
    • Add a contact us page
    • Installed another theme
    • Signed up for markething

    Profit:

    Total: -$16,34 USD

TIP: Don't get mad if you lose all of your days of website data. See past it, it's not worth getting mad over since there's nothing you can do about it. For me, it usually turns out better than before if I redo everything. I learned that when my brother destroyed my Lego buildings.

The last few days I've been very busy with school work and real life stuff. I have however got a few things done.

    Things I done

    • I finished setting the website up after having to wait for 2 days for the nameservers to be setup correctly.
    • Collected and emailed around 60 companies, offering my service to them. Hopefully I'll have some responses in a day or two.

Unfortunately 30 of the companies I mailed probably got the mail in their spam folder because of emails coming from my name at mydomain dot com only ended up in the spam folder.

Tips on how to fix this is greatly appreciated.

    • Set the payment system up and made sure it worked correctly.
    • Ordered 100 trial visits from DriveVisits.
    Expenses:

    • No expenses these last few days

    Total: -$16,34 USD
