This has to be my 500th journey here, but this one has to be the one I'm most excited about. Now, I've looked into the Shopify dropshipping method everyone was raving about before the Instagram+OGAds craze started, but couldn't get into it because I had no funds to do anything or test FB ads. But now, after doing some freelance work and working on my long term affiliate sites, I have a monthly quota that I can spend without worry about losing money, since I'm a kid and I got no bills to pay yet. SO, I decided to start a dropshipping ecommerce site based around a niche that I chose based around the friends around me. As I am in highschool, I can see a lot of culture and the stuff that people are interested in (e.g. fidget spinners) so the niche I chose for the first site I made was based around a niche that people are interested in around me. It's also a female niche, so the buyer's intent should be a bit higher. Anyway, I've already started so this is the progress I'm at right now. Site A: Sales $604.49 - 51 orders Site B: Just Started Now, around 10% of the orders on Site A are from my FB ads that I'm currently testing right now. The major bulk of the rest of the sales are from Reddit. This is kind of what I did to promote my site on Reddit, hopefully you can do the same. 1. Create a collections page based around a niche I want to promote, so that the page looks more complete. This should include a minimum of 5 products imported from AliExporess. 2. Choose one product that seem like it would sell well. 3. Personally, I did free+shipping, but you can also do 50% off, or something like that as well. Whatever works best for you. 4. Post on the respective subreddit with around 20-30 readers (less active mods) and wait for the orders to come rolling in. Using the method above, I was able to get $200 in sales in 2 hours, so that's something I'm sure would work for many other niches as well. The thing about this method is, it's hard to keep finding the right subreddits to promote in, as some subreddits will remove your post right away and some will have users that downvote the shit out of your post immediately. -------------------------------------- The reason I started site B was because I was too much in a targeted niche, although a tiny bit broad, on site A, which made it harder for me to find respective subreddits to promote to. That's why I started site B alongside site A, so that I can keep on posting on these subreddits to milk money out of, so that I have more funding and more money to burn on ads to find the perfect, scalable one. Site B is in more of a general niche, and I am planning to create several collection pages on several different niches in this general niche, so that I have plenty of sites to promote to. Honestly, if I can milk $500~$1000 out of a site before my site gets blacklisted on Reddit, that's fine with me. I'm going for quick and easy money here, since this amount of money for this amount of work is substantial compared to the amount I've been making. Once the site gets blacklisted, I can easily start another one and repeat, or I can reinvest the profit into ads for the site, no problem. That's a long introduction, but this is a journey that I'm proud to be starting and participating in, since I haven't seen such quick and simple money in a long time. Amazon affiliate sites are a pain people, lots of patience required and a teen like me needs to see results quick or they get bored. Also, I'm not too scared of PayPal limiting me, because my parents helped register a PayPal account under their name under their corporation so if it ever gets locked, we have documents to unfreeze it easily. They'll also help with taxes on that as well. Anyways, wish me luck, this is a interesting learning curve for me, but SO MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE THAN AMAZON AFFILIATE SITES THATS FOR SURE!
