Hey guys,

I had tried IM last year. Didn't suit me then and went to freelancing as a web developer. I earn around $1500 from it monthly and I am trying to get back into IM again as now I am not completely broke anymore. :p

However, this being the first time I will try Clickbank and hopefully reach the target within a couple of months (that's what I am challenging myself to). So I'll try updating regularly 2 to 3 times a week. The first 2 days, ie, today and tomorrow will mostly be spent reading up on marketing methods for Clickbank and other related stuff. In the meanwhile if you guys can link me to any thread, post or any info, that would really help!

I really hope, I get to learn stuff from the other great people out here.

So cheers to you guys and to me!

Let the journey begin!

I'm assuming like most people you'll be getting your traffic from Google and similar. This is great if you get the right keywords, targeted and ready to buy.

I would, focus on building a few additional traffic sources. Research your niche, some demographics prefer Pinterest while others will have stronger followings on Tumblr.

This may seem excessive, but it can add hundreds more visits a day and building these accounts takes a minimal time investment.

After reading some on this forum, I can't decide between going the YouTube way or the website/articles way and hence decided to do both. So tomorrow I will dedicate to searching for 3 products. 2nd day with making a free WordPress blog for them and then the 2nd trying to get atleast 1 videos about a product out.

If you earn $1,500/mo as a freelancer.

You can use it for reinvesting in list building (include generating targeted traffic) then promote CB products to the list.

Finally. Got started with the website. I am not aiming for the quick cash. I am building a website, right now I am getting started with articles like 6 a week. Once I have enough articles, I will start building video content and some reviews with the clickbank products.

I am also thinking of inserting some Amazon affiliate links in the articles. Not in each one of them, more like, 2-3 links per 3 articles.

Once the content is there and the website is a little more "natural", I will start building traffic and backlinks. Can you guys suggest anything for the traffic part?

Right now I am doing on-page SEO but what else can I do?

I am doing just that. And hence why I am taking one step at a time. I hope to see some cash flow in after the first month, so that this keeps paying for itself until it starts generating profit.

With Clickbank. Its all about choosing the right products and ranking for the buy keywords.

Also the best way to make sales is a product review or as a satisfied user.

Once you rank and even with an average product $50 a days is very easy to achieve

You're absolutely right. However going for products with huge gravity did not appeal me much. I am trying to rank for a few buyer keywords with about 4000 to 9000 monthly searches according to google. Got the articles written for those keywords this week. Next week I will try and get some review videos up on youtube and link them to a written review on the website. That way I hope to start getting those visitors to my website.

I am giving this project till the month of September. If I don't see any significant progress in terms of revenue/traffic I will just try and flip it.

Finished setting up website with a good design. Posted the articles. About 6 in 2 days time. One is a review of a clickbank product. Others are informational. Set up the posts with links to other pages of my website. Now I need to decide what the next step should be. Should it be more content or drive traffic?

What do you guys think?
