The daughter of my mom's brother is getting married next month, around 18-21 January, she wants to go to see the wedding (more than 7'000 KMs away from us, almost on the other side of the World).
I told her that I personally will give her the money. Why 5,000€? She only needs half of that but a little more money never hurts. Not going into details, time is money, so this is my plan:

This is not going to be a typical IM journey, why? Because that takes time and doesn't happen overnight. So I had to think outside of the box for getting money quick that could be in my pocket before January 10th 2015.
So I started to think outside of the box ideas and I thought.. 'Hey!, I could offer a gig to people for little money and sell that gig many times a day until my feet are hurting!'
You know, something that was really easy to understand, looked irresistible and could benefit them quickly!
Then I needed to think which gig to sell, and I thought about a little nice and beautiful video with photos and texts about people's business. Why?

    1. Looks irresistible: who doesn't like Videos? Who wouldn't like a nice video about their business? A nice very low cost video.
    2. Easy to understand: It's a video, you pay me , you get a nice video!
    3. Quick benefit: they can expose the video on their TVs or whatever they have in their store, put that on their website, Facebook or whatever they have!

I'm still thinking if I can think a better idea, so new ideas are welcome! I just need to take action. I would sell this gig for around 20/30 bucks, if the buyer likes it, he pays me and I get his e-mail /whatever where I send the video after a few days.

I know what you are thinking right now, how the hell is this guy going to raise 5 grand selling a little gig for around 20 bucks? Well, doing it in the old way, walking in businesses stores door to door, explain them the gig showing some sample videos in my laptop screen, if they don't like it, ok, into the next businesses and if they like it good! Get the money and into the next door! The plan is to wake up early, go to a big city and start walking in as much doors I can in one day and hopefully sell at least 10 gigs a day, possibly more.

    - 10 gigs a day for 20/30 bucks (let's say 25$), 10x25= 250$ a day, I will need 10 days for the money that I need, and then hopefully I can get a little more! ;)

Right now I'm thinking about the last details, like if I would need a contract or no for only 20 or 30 bucks. I will probably just go and see where it leads me.
Still open to new ideas if this plan doesn't work out, then I would try a new gig.

    Let's go!

Sounds good to me. Make a proof of concept video explaining your service and then go hit up the BHW marketplace and start taking people's orders. Don't sleep until you make your 10th sale.

Sounds low to me but hey it might work. I'd rather sell 3 videos a day at $99.

If I were you I would start to split test the pricing. Day 1 see if you can see at $25. Day 2 see if you can sell at $50. And so on, you may find that you make more sales at a higher price.

I thought about 50 and even 99. But I'm not really sure about that.
25 is a low amount so it's easy for the buyer to say yes for something that can help his business, it's almost free, a no-brainer.
At 50 and 99 we are not in the no-brainer situation anymore, but I'm going to see where the 25 leads me first, and maybe start doing some changes during the days, like offering more than one video for a little more.

Take a look at the BST section and take a note of all video sellers. Write down their pricing and watch their demo video. You can (and most definitely should) base your pricing / quality off that.

TBH, you're better off selling more expensive but higher quality video.

Also, be sure to have a demo video available (or better yet, post it here).

Anyway, best of luck, I really hope you make it!
