Introduction *I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE, IF YOU HAVE ANY TIPS, SUGGESTIONS OR CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM, FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW, I AM VERY OPEN MINDED.* Some of you may have seen my other IM journey (Journey to 100k Instagram followers w/ GrowMyInsta), Where I am working on building a large following to eventually monetize through shoutouts and sending them to a website that I create. Well, while those accounts are still extremely far away from the goal, they are growing and looking promising so I thought in my spare time I might as well create a blog related to the accounts. My new journey here will be making a blog in the health & fitness niche, and gain traffic through good SEO as well as my IG accounts. I'm pretty new to the IM game still so this journey will most likely be slow, but I plan on following it through to the end. THE PLAN / PHASES Getting Started The easy stuff 1. Set up website (Wordpress, Logo, etc.) 2. Link IG channels (Website in the bio) Moving Along I plan on having bi-weekly, or at the least weekly scheduled posts to my health & fitness blog. I plan on creating my own content as well as outsourcing my articles from a trusted source I have used before. My articles will generally be divided as: 90% entertainment (articles that will be shared (hopefully) on social media, these will have ads strategically placed on their page). 10% affiliate links (related products or services) The reason I am doing only 1/10th of my posts as affiliate links is because I don't want my website to look desperate, I want to give my users some value or a reason to stick around. Other Monetization I'm going to be setting up a newsletter and collecting users emails, I will potentially write a short e-book or health service that users can have for free if they choose to sign up. I will send out offers, info products, or even my affiliate linked articles to subscribers. I will also (hopefully) have a large extremely targeted following on IG by the time my website gets some traffic that will be forwarded to my website or even affiliate articles on the website. Of course AdSense will also be a large contributor to my monetization, as I said, 90% of my posts will be free of any affiliate links, but will contain strategically placed ads. Well, wish me luck, Here goes nothing! EDIT: I forgot to add, I am a graphic designer so I plan on also creating an apparel page (All of it would be related to the niche of course) on my website if I get enough traffic! I would have a blast doing that for dedicated followers.
