I'm like many of you (I guess) , I try many things online to make money but leave them quick after a few days or a week. This time I'm giving content locking another shot, I tried before but stopped after a couple of days, lets see if I can make it work this time.
This journey thread is pretty much to keeps me motivated and focused, probably won't work will see
I'll be pretty detailed here because it's no secret how content locking works, there's no mysteries - you lock something that people want up and make them do a quick action in order to get it.
Here we go :
The goal - $30 a day with Instagram. The network I'm using pays about 50 cents per action so it comes down to about 60 a day. I don't know if I can get that many with only 1 IG account but will see.
The tools to achieve this :
- 1 IG account, about a month old
- FollowLiker bot
- domain
- OGmobi account for monetizing
What I'm going to do is basic content locking. I have a working hack (it doesn't have to be working but mine is) for a somewhat popular game and will make people download a free app in order to be able to see it. It's not exactly a hack to be precise, but more of a bug in the game, when they run out of lives they can use my "hack" and keep playing.
The IG account was used for another project before and the last few days I was pretty much unfollowing people and only liking posts in the new niche and commenting but from my phone, not from FL. Here are the starting stats:
The money part - since Insta is pretty much all mobile users, making them download an app is better as a content lock than a survey. The network I'll use is OGmobi, the owner is a member here and seems like a good fit. So for the 3 days or so I'm trying this the results ain't bad for the amount of work done - made 80 cents the first day, about $2 yesterday and this is so far today:
I'll make a few more comments from my phone tonight and start all FollowLiker fully automated tomorrow.
The domain : bought a domain which has a variation of the name of the game I have a hack for - example if the game was ( unfortunately It's not) "Subway Surfers" the domain would have to be something like subwaycheats/dot/com , or for ClashofClans - clancheats/dot/com . Actually since i'm not going to rank this domain if it's .com or .net or .info or whatever doesn't' matter - as long as its niche relevant it's OK and will make people click on it.
The set up : the domain is in my account's bio, I'm not going to post it in the comments because i think it doesn't work and might get the account flagged (correct me if I'm wrong please) . I have a simple short sales pitch in the account - something like "For unlimited lives" and an arrow pointing down to it . The domain as of now is redirected from the domain register to the mobile locker directly - no landing page and no hosting. OGmobi lets you put about 100-200 characters explanation on top of their locker page and so far this info about what they will get seems to be enough to doing the trick.
The plan : I did all the "hard" work so far already and from now on it's pretty much up to FollowLiker. I'll set it up to follow 300-500 a day, like 500-700 and make 50-100 comments. I have 15 images on the account so that's enough. I'm not really looking for growing the account and gaining followers, all I want is people's attention for a few seconds and maybe if they want to click the link in the bio and unlock the hack.
Expenses so far :
$8 for the domain
FollowLiker - I had it from before, it was about $80 package deal with the Twitter bot
Income: $6
