This is my first post on the forum and I figured that I might as well make it a journey for all to follow. A little background first- I am a full time teacher with a masters in strength/conditioning and coaching. I first became interested in IM two years ago when I was informed that my position would be cut from my district. This was sort of a low point and I realized that I needed to take things upon myself and be responsible for my own fate. If I wanted to make more money, I would learn how on my own and no one could stop me from that. Coincidentally I stumbled upon niche marketing through Ed Dales 30 day challenge and took an interest. I stayed home from work for like 3-4 days and completed all the work in the challenge in that time (30 days worth). The goal was to make a dollar in that time and I achieved that goal. I couldn't believe it, I made a dollar online. That first dollar is something special and gives you a different perspective on life. Fast forward to today. I have made money in several different aspects of IM. I have had $100.00 days with adsense, sold clickbank products, worked offline with lead generation and youtube videos, performed SEO and designed websites for clients and currently am growing a niche site in the amazon affiliate field. This journey is based on CPA.... I am completely new to this so it will definitely be a learning experience for me. My means of promotion will be ranking youtube videos as well as a blog. Originally I was going to strictly use youtube but as I got to thinking I realized this might also be a great niche to build a list in, hence the blog. My tools for this journey Fiverr- I am going to outsource as much as possible using fiverr, I won't buy any software such as GSA etc.... Only use gigs as I feel that this might relate to more people and give them some motivation to try things on their own. I realize that this will take some money, however it could become scalable quickly. I will provide specific information on gigs etc... for all to see (if that is allowed?) Onlywire- I have a subscription so I will utilize this just because it's available SocialAdr- Same reasons as above Hostgator- Already have hosting prior to this journey LongtailPro- I like to use keyword planner to get ideas while at work and then I generally will take those seed ideas and plug them into longtail pro to analzye competition, searches etc. I believe those are all of the tools that I have at my disposal, anything else that I use I will be completely transparent about and answer any questions to the best of my ability. Goals: 30USD a day---- I just came up with this number for no specific reason other than it would be close to 1000 a month and that would be nice. What I have completed so far 1. Selected an offer in the "health" niche. I like to use this niche as much as I can because content creation is super easy for me. I have worked (and currently am working) in other niches but it just becomes boring and I get burnt out on writing things that I don't really care or know much about. I am somewhat of an expert in most health things so this is just a natural extension of my regular job and is easy for me. 2. Gathered a list of 48 "buyer" keywords. The range of monthly searches is between 12k and as low as 300. There are plenty of buyer keywords here and some easy low hanging fruit for sure. There is also at least one youtube video and niche site on the first page for almost every keyword. Many happen to be targeting mulitple keywords which gives me some hope.. I don't have to reinvent the wheel here, just do it better than everyone else. 3. Found a suitable group of fiverr gig offers for videos which I will be writing scripts for shortly. That's it for now, I am hoping that this thread will help me stay motivated and allow us all to learn a bit more about CPA and youtube. Thanks!
