Intro:
I'm into FB-Ads for a long time already, promoting different products and the results are always lets say - good, better, worse :D
Its mostly because of Facebook changing their pricing from one day to another - so when I manage to get a good CPC on one day, the next day its sometimes 5-times the CPC (without touching the ad at all!)
But this journey is not about my regular stuff - its about something new I found just a few days ago here on BHW and started to try just yesterday.

The Journey Day 1:
Yesterday I signed up to a service (I'll keep it to myself first - will reveal it if I reach my goal) I was a little bit skeptical about it (and still am) but it went better than expected.
I set up an ad on FB for $100 promoting the link of said service targeting mobile in the US. Statistics didn't look that good at first, but slowly the service started to pick up so I left the ad running when I went to sleep hoping to at least break even.
When I checked FB today I had spent ~$78 of the $100 budget (no exact numbers because I don't want to get tracked by them).

I then checked the service and I made $98.02 with it (would add screenshot but can't yet). Ok, thats not very much, but its a start and still 125% ROI. For today it looks better already and I will update tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Summary:
FB-Ads: $78
Return: $98.02
Profit: $20.02

Shedule:
Optimizing ad if needed
Scale existing ad (changed budget to $200 already)

I would assume that is due to competing ads. You are bidding for the lowest price, so when there are more/higher bids to compete against, you end up paying more.

I'm using 'Boost Post' and 'Page Post Engagement'. The CTR is 12%+ and optimized CPM ~$3 which I think is pretty good.
I'm using the affiliate link provided by the service.

so you have FB page in that niche or you made new page for service ?

I just used a random fanpage that I own already and posted the link as a status. Its not selling a product, its just a link to an article on a website.

Haha.. yeah pretty much disappointed... the thread is so short right now - shouldn't be too hard to read the few posts. Its all answered in there, you wouldn't have asked if you read it.

Quick update:
I get a bonus of 5% on top of my earnings starting today.
Right now I'm at 144% ROI

Hint to the one who sent me a PM:
I don't have enough Posts to send PMs, but yes I also have some fanpages :)

Is there a reason why you're not trying 'website conversion'?

Did you use a FB coupon for the $100? Can you tell me where did you get it from? I'm still learning FB ads, and wanted to know where to get those coupons, thanks!
