Hi all,

Long-time lurker starting my own journey. I started a site on a fresh domain at the end of October 2021 that has seen steady growth and is currently getting about 12k GSC clicks per month. I didn't know a ton about SEO when I started, but I have started numerous businesses throughout my life, and I have some tech skills from a coding boot camp. I've also befriended people on this and other forums that are highly skilled in the languages I'm using who have been invaluable to this project.

The site currently has about 230 articles. Plenty of crap articles from early on when I was figuring things out. However, around the beginning of 2022, I started working on an app with some other people that automates the keyword research to find low competition keywords by analyzing the top ranking serps. Since I started going in this direction, I've consistently ranked new articles on the first page of Google and have seen steady traffic growth.

The app has continued to expand and, as of a month or so ago, now allows me to generate and publish PAA articles directly to WordPress based on its earlier kw research aspect.

I now follow a similar model to some of the other journeys here where I generate several thousand articles to domains and monitor GSC to see which keywords are getting traffic. Once an article starts to get clicks, I remove the content from the automated site and rewrite a quality version on my main white hat site that includes all of the queries getting traffic. This is a significant improvement over the keyword research aspect of the app that I've already had success with bc Google now tells me exactly what is worth writing.

I've learned a lot following similar journeys here and hope to help others through my journey, as well as to receive feedback on ways to improve my strategy as I continue forward. Some things I will be focusing on next are improving EAT on these sites, figuring out a way to better interlink my articles, and coming up with a strategy to automate linking to reputable sources.

I have other sites that I've acquired over the last 6 months that have substantially more traffic and I'm using this technique to grow them, but this journey will only be about the site I started from scratch on the brand new domain.

Thanks to everyone who has posted their journeys that have helped me figure out so many things I wouldn't have come up with on my own.

I think he doesn't have an app. Because if he had the right tool, he could have created at least 100k articles so far.
Here are three sites I created in the last few weeks. I have close to a dozen like this. I have some big scrapes running right now that will allow me to generate thousands more articles over the next week.site 2.pngsite 3.pngsite1.png

awesome! good luck brother

How will you monetize the site? Are the articles 100% informative or are there some money articles? How do you write articles automatically Do you use ai programs, or just scraping ?
Thanks, you inspired me to share my own journey too, I plan to launch 10 niche stores, relying only on SEO and I will share the journey,The goal will be to get sales at the end of the year for each store

Thanks, man! Much appreciated!

My white hat sites are mostly informational with various affiliate links scattered throughout the articles. About 80% of income on my sites is from ads. I'm going to be starting lots of new sites now that I have this tool so I imagine I will try lots of strategies in the future.

The script scrapes PAAs and then re-writes them using our own model. It then links back to the PAA source for now to hopefully avoid copyright issues. Scraping is the longest part because it analyzes the competition for each potential query before deciding which to turn into articles.

10 niche sites is a big project. Definitely interested in following along. Best of luck to you as well!

I both love and hate that half of the Internet seems to be getting on the PAA automation bandwagon this is probably the last year to really bank on this before we switch to another method.

What is the app coded in? Are you paraphrasing, generating, or copy pasting content?

Thanks for leaving a comment on my thread and good luck.

I agree this PAA route will only last so long. I'm going to try to advantage while it lasts, but we've got some other ideas that we're already looking into for the next project.

We're using Python bc there are so many great libraries out there already. We're paraphrasing content and linking back to each original source.

Thanks for commenting as well. I've been following your journey for a while and we've adopted some of our strategies based on what you've discussed.

230 articles are a lot. You seem to be the right track. I will keep following your journey thread.
Thanks, mate. The plan is to double the number of articles on the white hat site over the next 6 months as the GSC data comes in and gives us an idea of what is best to write.

This is an update from my first journey post 2 months ago. At the time of my first post, I was getting around 500 Google clicks per day. As of the beginning of August, I am not getting almost 1k Google clicks per day. My goal is to be on Mediavine by the end of the year, but I'm hopeful that it can still happen by the end of October.

Using a custom keyword research tool my dev team developed, I am able to get this growth without spending any time manually identifying keywords. The application scrapes Google PAA questions and analyzes the search results for each query to determine which search terms are most likely to rank. The app then groups related PAA questions for the search terms most likely to rank and turns them into content outlines. Finally, the app generates AI content to answer each PAA question on the content outline.

Up until this point, I've been publishing the AI-generated content on a separate domain in order to track how each article ranks without the risk of Google penalizing my main site. Once an article ranks, I take it off the separate domain and rewrite a quality version on my main site. However, 3 days ago, I started publishing the AI-generated content directly to my main site. I still track in GSC and rewrite the articles that start to rank, but I'm trying to speed up the process to start generating income sooner.

This summer has been super busy, but I will try to post a new update sooner than 2 months from now.
