I personally have a few pinterest accounts with over 1m+ that average around 1-3k views to site.

Don't look at your analytics daily, just post consistently.

Missing 1 day hurts your account for 3 days..

Try different pin types. By this i mean do not be a 1 trick pony. Some long pins, some short pins, and others in between.

A 1:3 ratio is great. Every pin of yours, repin 2 of others, since you are using tailwind, you are blessed.

Do keyword research BUT DO NOT DO hashtags in descriptions. Descriptions keep around 50 words for sure!!!!! and use your keywords within it.

    Pinterest is a search engine

    No hah
No hashtags? Why? Don't get me wrong. I will try it. Just everyone else is saying the opposite.

Thank you for your reminder, I had just tried the rich pin and seemed they need human review. Will see what happens.

Why do you not suggest doing hashtags in description since Pinterest officially supports it?

I speak to Pinterest people. I have personally seen better results across my accounts without hashtags as well,

Thank you for the good advice. Very impressive that you managed to grow a few accounts to 1m+ viewers.

Once you pin something, do you repin it to other boards right away where it fits, or just to the most niche relevant board and leave it?

As for checking analytics, I'll probably continue to do it daily in the beginning just for this thread but otherwise I've been mostly ignoring it anyways. Just focusing on posting consistently.

And yes, tailwind is a blessing. Scheduling content is so easy with it, I can schedule the next week's content in 15 minutes. Plus getting shares from tribes is awesome too. :)

My Pinterest account just got suspended.

It's pretty old and I think what triggered is either sharing photos from only one of my blogs and neither else or sharing emoticons as comments on photos. They probably think it's spam so, be careful. I submitted a request for a review so, we'll see what happens with my lead account (few thousands of followers) and, a brand profile.

    Good luck! :)

I don't comment on any photos, so good there. I'm also using tailwind for scheduling content, they work hand-in-hand with Pinterest so everything is 100% legit.

While it's recommended you share other's content on your Pinterest, I know accounts that only post their own and have no issues. So probably something with your posting patterns/frequency/site or comment patterns.
Or if you were doing follow/unfollow that could be it too.

I hope you get your account back! A few thousand followers is a pretty good account.

I only did those 2 actions in the recent past so, guess it's like you said, the commenting that was seen as spam by their system.

Hope they do notice there are no links in comments or actual spam and bring back the account. Thanks for the support, btw! :)

I know it's your journey thread but I'm going to put out an update before someone asks what happened to this moaner right here :)

They apologized and my account is back up. It was probably too many comments per day which triggered the algorithm/system.

Again, good luck to you and hope you get to 1M in no time!
