    - Cashed $500 today. This client dumped us after 2 months, but managed to get him back in September. I didn't have the balls to upsell him since, but will try next month when he'll be all mushy from the spirit of xmas :D
    - No new skype calls yet. The VA didn't bring home the bacon yet, nor did I, so can't get a new lead for the consultant. I'm really looking forward to his next call, I think I'll become addicted to analyzing calls.
    - The money hasn't arrived yet. He said Thursday, so if it doesn't arrive by the end of the day, it might never arrive.

Hahaaa!! We're so mean. The guy has a lot of qualities, he will probably be great at this soon.

Yeah man he actually did a great job of closing his first deal but the way I imagined him begging for almost half the price he first asked got me laughing :D

Why don't you offer SEO services to your clients? I think you mentioned it somewhere in the thread but can't remember the answer

One of my favorite journey threads on this forum, keep on crushing it! :D

Regarding your phone call script, do you have any advice on creating a script that converts sales? I'm looking to onboard clients for FB ads as a side project, and I'm currently stuck trying to figure out a script that works.

    - Kaaa Chiiiiing!!! Money came through in the end. Already paid the consultant ($825) half of his commission. He is stoked.
    - There are enough payments left this month to get me to 10k, so maybe that's why I'm a bit slow on the leads. I should increase the target next month.

Maybe when I'll have a SEO strategist, but I still need to find someone for fb ads first. Better just scale what works now.

    Thanks man!

I hope you understand that these are not cold calls. I warm up the leads a lot before going on skype. When I call them I use this structure:

    - Opening (continuing what we chatted on fb before).
    - Discovery questions ("Tell me a little bit about your business", find pain points).
    - Find out their budget (important).
    - Pain questions ("How are you fixing pain X ?")
    - Pitch (show them what you did for others like them, use screen sharing).
    - Going for the kill! (close them... gently, don't be pushy, make them come to the conclusion by themselves, you just ask questions).

If you have no experience, read SPIN selling and watch chris do, he has a ton of material:

    - Goal reached! Got 2 payments of 1k each. It happened sooner because of the extra client we got (closed by the consultant).
    - Speaking of him, he found a client on his own. Skype call on Wednesday. I can't wait.
    - Technically I should also have a solid lead from twitter, but he only talked to the VA so not sure about the "solid" part yet. Will update on this.
    - At the end of the week I'm expecting one more payment, which puts me between 11k and 12k this month. So decided to raise the goal to 12k in December.

I wouldn't rise the goal to 12k. Businesses might limit their advertising budgets at the end of the year for accounting shit nd stuff. I have always seen a drop of CPA offers in CPA networks in December.

    - This month I decided to increase the goal because I only have to close 1-2 deals to reach it.
    - The consultant didn't score his new lead.
    - I'll skype the twitter client on Monday.
    - Lost 1 client (1k/mo). Will try to get him back.

Nobody will cut my arms off if I don't reach the goal. So no worries, I'll do my best to reach it anyway.

Thanks! Search this thread for "facebook method" or "fb method".

How do you warm up the leads a lot before the call?

My process is from cold email. But I generally introduce myself and that I "get clients for commercial businesses", then I ask if they have time for a call.

On the call, it's a type of discovery call. I ask them questions like, how long they've been in business for, what kindo of work they prefer in their niche, if they've done marketing before, how would they rate it, or if their happy with it. And then I ask how much more business they're looking for, and if they have any competitors that I could look into. To see if they're doing anything that you're not.

It might be too cold for me to start asking questions right away. How can I go about warming them up? I've just watched that video and liked it, but they're already kind of warm sales. Because the client called the business with a need. With cold outreach, I reached out to them saying I can get them more clients.

    - I had to let the twitter VA go. No leads converted.
    - The consultant went MIA. I bet he'll show up when his 2nd payment goes through.
    - I had a decent skype call yesterday, didn't close on the spot, she wants to modify the contract.
    - I found someone who says he does tiktok marketing. I don't think there's a market for it, but I'll look into it more. If he's good I'll hire him.

So, now I pull clients from fb. Which is much easier to warm up than email. Basically every interaction "raises the temperature". If I get a like from someone the temperature raises by 1 degree, I add them as friend, almost guaranteed acceptance, few more degrees. Now they'll see my posts on their feed, which are designed to pull them in further. The ones who continue to interact end up in messenger. Most of my discovery happens there. By the time they get on skype they're hot leads.

You're cold emailing, so you need to mail them a lot to warm them. Not sure if you read the part of the thread when I was doing cold email. I wasn't contacting them only once, and the ones who'd reply, I'd add them to a followup list to warm them further. I'd also get back to the ones that didn't reply. Add intriguing subject lines but not misleading, if they get pissed off they will mark you as spam and even if you're using multiple domains it's still going to be the same IP (cause shared hosting) so the spam score will remain. Use sendgrid and similar services, the free versions, on top of the hosted email. The good thing about these services is that you can set them up in an email client and use mail merge to bulk send and schedule, plus you'll be spread between a few different IPs, plus you'll have analytics (open rates, bounces, spam reports, views, clicks).

Wow what a journey, it took me 3 days to read it all. I read it while commuting to work in the train. I'm a SEA /Google Ads Manager working for one of the biggest performance agency in the world. I'm thinking of starting a similar journey but only aming at 2k per month , ideally working only with 2 clients. I work full time so my time is limited but I could easily manage 2 clients for 2k /month.

I currently have a potential client for some SEO work. I'm not an expert in SEO but might be able to help him. Might start a journey as well!

    - Last month I mentioned talking to a smart girl about fb ads. Yesterday her campaigns got me a promising lead. Talked to him and he seems sold on a 2k deal. Skype call tomorrow. This is a game changer. Fb ads didn't work for me before, I had just low quality leads. I'll definitely hire her, even if I'll have to poach her from the current employer. I hope this isn't just a fluke.
    - The client from last week got cold feet. She wanted to change the contract and when I sent her the update, she ghosted me.
    - I'm negotiating an upsell with one of my clients. Back and forth is going well so far. From $500 to 1k/mo.
    - My google ads guy is on holiday. This means I won't be able to get new adwords clients. Will have to sell fb ads instead.

You should totally leave them and come work for me instead :anyway:

Yeah, do that! I wish you good luck!

    Great journey so far!
I have one question, are most of the projects you have finished until now simple information/landing websites about businesses or more complex sites?
