    10k GOAL REACHED!!!

Finally, I got closure on this. I feel such a relief. I tried way too hard these past days but to no avail. All the hustle wasn't enough to close a deal in such a short span of time, but the client who was due today paid his 1k for this month, which pushed my revenue to $10500.

I want to thank all who supported me throughout this thread. I won't stop here, I want to keep the 10k level for a few more months before trying to scale. I'm glad I hustled hard this past week because even if I couldn't close on the spot I got a bunch of leads that can turn into clients the next month.

I'll take a few days off to celebrate.

Yes, I have to keep going for 1k/mo clients, I didn't have much luck trying to pull 2k/mo deals.

And what would I gain from that?

Mostly yes. But not doing websites much nowadays.

    Congrats. Great job!

Since many local and small businesses only have an email like [email protected], do you bother sending a cold email to them? Or you just look for businesses that have at least an email like [email protected]?

    October goal: $10000
    Earned: $0
    Spent: $0

Originally I wanted to do 8k for October but since I reached 10k last month I'll try to do it again this month. Current monthly revenue is 8.5k (if every client pays when they should) so I'll need to pull another 1.5k.

The good news is that I did a lot of outreach before reaching the goal, so I got a bunch of people interested. I didn't skype any since I got some time off, but I replied to messages and will start skyping ASAP.

Not doing email outreach anymore, but yes, I wanted [email protected] over [email protected] most of the time, actually I preferred yahoo/gmail/outlook addresses because people use those more often. And don't worry about sending to info/contact addresses if it's a small business, because it will probably go straight to the owner. Another thing I'd do is send to multiple addresses of the same business.

    October goal: $10000
    Earned: $2000
    Spent: $0

My biggest client payed his monthly fee yesterday (2k) but told me results are not as good and he expects an improvement in October. My google ads guy said he tried but can't improve the campaigns. I need to find a solution or lose the client.

The outreach wasn't very successful. Only a single person followed through so far. We skyped and they agreed to send money on Monday.

How do you calculate a fee percentage to handle your client's Adwords account?

    October goal: $10000
    Earned: $6000
    Spent: $556

This week I got 4 payments (1k clients) including the new client who didn't pay on Monday but managed to pay on Friday. The other 3 payments were on time so can't complain.

I had 2 new skype calls this week but no conversions. I was mainly busy trying to find a sales guy, someone who can do skype calls along with me. This is part of the scaling plan, although I didn't have any luck yet.

So far I have 3 packages: $500/$1000/$2000 per month. These fall between 10-20% of the client's budget.

Just read the whole thread. Great info.

Are most of your clients currently from referral? If not, how much time do you dedicate to outreach?

Your first adwords guy sounded good, but probably felt underpaid. It's hard to tell how much you pay your employee, but treat them well if they do a good job. It's worth it, even if it cuts into your profits more.

    October goal: $10000
    Earned: $8500
    Spent: $1316

This week I got 3 payments. 2x $1000 and 1x $500. The store guy also complained that performance has been low lately. Adwords guy is trying to find a solution.

I found a salesperson and currently training him, but I don't think he's ready for the calls yet.

A few are from referral. I used to spend 50 hours per week just for outreach, but atm my focus is on hiring. Nonetheless, as soon as I have someone who can convert my leads like I do or better, I'll get back to focusing on outreach.

I guess you have a point. I didn't know how good he was at the time, plus he didn't work much at all, once his campaigns started to work he'd hardly do anything. I think I'll try to get him back with better pay, he might be able to save me from losing 2 clients.

Good stuff here man. Next up...scale. If you can do $10K per month, you can certainly do $20K per month!
