How do you choose a good niche? And do you think free niche is still work?
Yeah, can you tell us any update Luna ?
Hello all, maybe here a people which can help me a little with shopify start . I have more questions.. Pm me please, or add skype kliunkis5
I'm currently running 3 shops and selling about 4000k/month total and the biggest issue I'm facing is inconsistent conversions.
One day I sell 10, next day zero and so on. Still experimenting tho, it would be great to talk about this with other shopify starters here. If you got a running and selling shop please write
Good Luck.. It motivation me ..
Hey Marko, I wanna ask you, how do you keep your conversion rates the same throughout the days? For me, one day is a very good 7% Purchase Rate on 4,000 visitors then the next day is 1% or less which is barely profitable.
Are you running on the 1, 7 or 28 day conversion window?
PS: My name is also Marko, yes with a k
What products you are selling? if you do not mind to tell some hints.
I am looking in electronic products, but the warranty and return policy really make me headache.
That's exactly my problem too, currently I'm using a 7 day conversion window but I'll try the one day one next week
Hello, I know this isn't the reply you want, but I'm been trying for 4 months to got my shop working, but still can't made more than few sales per week (and all my sales are only the week end), so I'm losing money. Do you run shop specific niche or a general one ? I run a general one, and that may be a problem. Also, I got a lot of visitors (so good ads I guess) thought my shop but really few buys, still I worked a lot on my design and product page. Are my advertised products that bad ? I promote physical products with videos ads. I would appreciate and benefit a lot from you just answering this, thanks a lot.
rexarme, PM me, I can't send you a message yet.
4000k per month ? or $4000 per month ? 4000K is 4 Million dollars. Or what currency is that ? lol
is any update coming as its been a while since last update.
4000k/month = 4 million or do you mean 4k in total ?
4k USD, I mistyped
so far I'm running general shops because even if I find ONE good product in a niche that's not enough to build a niche store around it, so I'm going on general stores so far.
I promote physical products with video, carousels and images, I advise you to don't concentrate on number of visits but on quality.
For example when I started Facebook began to drive to my site thousands of India - Pakistan visitors and they never bought anything, while right now I got much fewer visitors but from high converting countries.
Make conversions campaigns (no traffic ones), target broadly and you should have results as soon you find good, appealing products - I try from 2 to 5 new products per day and I stop them after 48 hours if they don't sell. And repeat that again and again and again...
Thank you a lot! But why do you run 3 shops if it's general shops ? Couldn't you just run only 1 big shop and promote all your products on it ? Yeah I see when I target worldwide I get a lot of traffic but thats actually bad traffic. I guess the key is to find the right product, and so try a lot of different products! Thank you again.
When can I contact FB for assistance, there's a couple errors on my business page, I tried to contact the live chat, but I got a note:
Hi! Chat is unavailable. You can still get the support you need by visiting https://www.facebook.com/business/resources.
It's 10 pm at where I live, so it's 4 pm or 1 pm in the US (in case the live support is located in the US).
I've been following your journey since quite some time now and have to say you've done a great job and achieved a lot.
This thread has been very informative and I decided to try out this method. Got everything in place, just waiting for Facebook to approve my ads. Let's see how this goes.
Unfortunately Facebook doesn't accept a debit card for ad payments and I don't have a credit card yet.
I've already set up a good looking store in a profitable niche and optimized it for conversions (been in the conversion optimization business for 4 years).
If anyone is interested in a JV, feel free to inbox and I'll show you the link to the website.
lol wow 10k a day is too big a goal to start. I mean a trend is just for a moment, so unless you get lucky like your family member guessing a trend or getting in early. I doubt you'll touch 10k a day any time soon. but hey, sh** happens my dude good luck.
