Missed your reply, sorry! Yea I do stuff on Riot Girls as well (not model stuff, just pure AI images, fetishes, kinks, etc and they know it's all ART), and was charging $5, a lot of scammers had no problem paying $5 to steal my hard work and resell it. Since placing it at $10 I lost my 4 scammers and am waiting for actual people to resub. I made $20 from the scammers lol.
I wholeheartedly agree with you about your shitty customers point though, it makes sense to "weed" out the losers as quick as possible.
Elthibert said chatting is a good way to make money, I have no issue with that AT ALL (money is money honey lol) but I wonder if we should make a separate "package" for that on a site like Patreon. On FV it just goes into the price of your subscription. On Patreon SUBS can talk to you OR people who have made at least one purchase. That being said, it might be beneficial to make JUST a chatting package. IDK something to think about.
That's okay bud, that's amazing bro, you're the first person that I've run into who's been on Riot Models. I thought that I was the only one. LOL! I haven't been using Riot Models in a couple of months now because I've been more focused on my Patreon, but I will get back to it eventually once I get my Patreon where it needs to be with subscriptions.
I'm sorry you had some scammers and thieves come by and resell your stuff, but at least you did get some money out of it. LOL! That's another good reason it's great to hike your prices up too, so you can avoid scammers like that who want to profit off your hard work. Scammers are trying to make money, so if you hike your prices up to $15-20 then they won't bother to pay, and they'll go to another creator who has cheaper prices.
It's just better to weed out those cheapskates because a lot of them come with an agenda like scamming you and other stuff. At least if you get people paying more, they'll be better quality customers, and cause you less stress.
Chatting can definitely be an opportunity to make extra money. It works for some people, and for some it doesn't. I think if you don't mind spending your time chatting, then you should do it. I had a pretty bad experience with it, personally recently. Before I tell you what happened, I'll preference this that this doesn't always happen though. I had a needy customer which are the worst type of customers to have in this industry. I had this guy who paid for my subscriptions on both accounts that I owned, and at first it seemed to be going well, but then I noticed how much this dude was writing me back. It was starting to take valuable hours out of my day to write him back. Then he unsubscribed when I made up this dangerous story about my character. Then he came back and he to start emailing me because his Patreon account was fucked up after he unsubscribed, so he couldn't DM me on there anymore. When he started emailing me, it was like everyday, and it was a very long post and he started acting like a horny weirdo, and he's a lonely creepy old man as well. I didn't have a huge problem with that because that's common in this sexualized industry. I'm selling sexy pictures, so I can't complain when a guy gets horny, shit I'm a guy myself, so I get it. I get him to subscribe to my model's friend which is my other account, so he starts talking to her now at this point.
Then, like a month later, he gets mad that my main model stopped emailing him for like 4-5 days in a row. I found out how angry he was through my 2nd model when he complained about her to her. He then unsubscribes again. Then I use my main model to spaz out and snap on his ass. He softens up and resubscribes again for a 3rd time, then a week later which was like 2 weeks ago in real-time; he ends up getting tired of everything and unsubscribes to both of again, and blocks my Patreon pages, Instagram accounts, and email accounts.
Ever since then, I've felt great to not have to deal with his weird ass anymore. LOL! I honestly hated being a girl sometimes to these simps, as well. The whole thing just sucked the energy out of me. I'm now just concentrating on making content for my only customer left, and it's been enjoyable for me, so far until I start actively advertising my Patreon accounts again.
Yeah, the one thing that I regret doing when I started getting those subscriptions back in February and March was to set up a tier package for chatting. I know a lot of girls who do this thing called GFE, which stands for Girlfriend Experience packages where they charge a really high amount to chat with dudes. The rates are usually pretty hefty, like $200-500 a week to chat with them, and some simps are willing to pay that high amount. I setup one for $1,200 recently because to be honest, if I'm going to chat again it's gotta be worth my while, and I don't feel like anybody is going to pay that high price, so it keeps me from chatting. LOL!
Like I said before, some people are comfortable chatting, and want to do it, but I've been through that experience, and am not interested.
I have checked in detail a lot of these AI influencers from simple mortals (not Aitana Lopez), but the rest of the normal guys like in this forum...
Some have invested a lot of hard work, I can see that they put really a lot of work checking those pictures and profiles...
But when you check in detail if they do any money, they barely have any paid members... some make 50-100 bucks per month with luck... and I can see some even wasting money to promote their profiles.
Its insane and unreal. Seriously I dont know why people keep trying with this useless niche when you have a lot of other serious ways to make money.
This niche is not for everybody, but I do have fun generating stuff for my model, and there's a ton of people in this niche who just do it for fun, as I've talked to several of them on Instagram.
There are a few who are doing very well, which shows the potential of it. I'm doing it because I like the subscription-based business model.
I think the main reason why most dudes are failing at it because most of us don't have the marketing skills to make it more successful.
A big reason for the failure is that full-length AI videos aren't out yet. Images are much harder to sell, so you need marketing skills for that, whereas videos are easier to sell.
I make money on the side with YouTube, so I definitely think guys should look for other income opportunities while building up their models, but they shouldn't quit because there's a lot of money to be made off of this industry, especially in the future.
I think guys who are dedicated to this will benefit a lot better when AI videos are available depending on how they use them, and where they promote them at as well.
depends on where you are located, but for most of the people it's 2-3k imo, to have a stable and good life.
Yeah, this definitely matters, but a few dudes that I've spoken to only need 1k, but people in 1st tier countries more than likely need 2-3k. I'm aiming for 2k first myself, but I'll need close to 3k to live comfortably every month.
