Journey to 1000$ a month with website

January: 30 sales, Total: $815.60

Morning!
Earnings, as a new CB day just started:
bhwyo.png

- Bought 20 PVA Gmails. Will make Disqus accounts, twitter etc. with these

- Will write a couple more articles for the CB site. Putting the other articles on hold for a bit, then I'll get to them in a couple of days to edit (these are much higher quality than the ones on the CB site)

- Installed Dragon naturally speaking

- Started reading up on YT/Pinterest

Why is there a difference in sales on the dashboard and the analytics

Analytics shows $936 @ 34 sales, dashboard front page shows 874@33 sales ... It's too much to be sale that's missing ...

Not much activity here, but I haven't been the best at updating and structuring the journey.

Sent CB an email regarding why the earnings are different (analytics is still showing higher), but whatever ... We just broke 1000$ -- and the day isn't over yet (will hopefully make at least one sale more today, this is the time when most of my US traffic is ticking in).

Also happy to find a vendor that doesn't fuck me over. Now I start to get up-sales from some of my first clients (and I get credited for those too)! Also no refunds!

1000.png

Stats for the month:
Hops: 319
EPH: $ 2.24
Monetas: $1000.84

To do:
- Expand this site, more content, more tier-1 sites
- Build up my other site, add Adsense, find a good network for offers pertinent to that niche (already a member at Adworksmedia, Adscend and CJ from back in the days).
- In the long run, build more CB sites, experiment with YT

Next goal: $1000/month consistent(!) --> $3000/month and learn a lot in the process

Edit: Was thinking about reinvesting some in SENuke Xcr. Any views? Will use it to build links to tier 1 (articles, wordpress.com, blogger, youtube etc.).

Lost a few of my forum links due to competitors flagging, so earnings have been a bit down. Still at 1200 ish at CB, so going to reinvest over time. Reinvesting in SEO and social exposure. Did Ahrefs on the top sites for some of my KW, and they're basically free links + a couple of guest posts from what appears to be a low PR PBN.

- Bought 5 high PR 2.0s from BST
- Bought 1 PR3, 1PR 5 and 1PR6 directory listing
- Bought one PR4 Guest post
- Manual commenting on blogs and forums
- Written, posted and approved one press release
- Made about 10 high PR profile links

- Written 2 high quality 2.0 sites, still haven't linked them together with money site
- Started a Tumblr, click-through leading to inner pages of they're relevant or to main site. I have had a lot of automated tumblrs, but the ones I had the best experience with in terms of followers and exposure are hand-made unique ones. I had a personal one back in the days, with about 50 travel photos, and I had more than 1000 followers without following other people almost.
- Tried Pinterest, been accepted to a few community boards, so we'll see

- Will install Adsense today, and make it appear contextual on articles (not affiliate articles). Will not have it in the sidebar, where I have an opt-in box.

Will start to tweak and 'groom' some of my KW articles and interlink them better today.

Forgot about this thread, so here is a little update (to prove that CB is till profitable).

Made about $14k since I started this thread.

Best day was $1600.00, now averaging about $200-350 a day from my main website. In the process of starting 3 new websites, but this time with more capital to invest.

Still doing the same simple approach: writing good content relevant to the product (with the same views), and reviewing products from the niche. Mostly SEO traffic, tiered link building and high PR links I buy (spent about 1500$ on SEO on this site).

Invested about $10,000.00 of it in stocks, waiting for some from CB and spent some on SEO. Hope to grow my business to a steady 500$ a day, maybe more once my other sites are launched (this is all from one site so far). Once I make more money of the new sites, I might sell the moneymaker site and focus on the other ones.

Akwin: please be more specific.

Great stuff, making a couple of dollars from Clickbank here and there is not that difficult. The difficult part is scaling it and keeping it consistent at a few thousands a month.

This thread shows that there really is not much secret to making a small amount of sales from clickbank, hard work and grease is definitely required: but I guess the traffic part is the most elusive and hardest for most people (even for me at times).

the simple formula : Write good content -> get traffic -> tweak and improve your conversions -> repeat

Really good job done by OP. Just goes to show you that all you need is quality content and good back linking.

Really interested in starting a journey similar to this but I am not understanding the process. So basically I create a website with a domain all about a single product on CB? And once I have that product do I fill the site with a bunch of reviews and information on that certain product.

Would appreciate any help and if possible can you add me on skype? itabangs

Hi, I don't have time for Skype, I'm also working 12h days (drilling engineer at an offshore oil rig). ;)

You write a general website about a certain problem or something people want, with articles that will help them (for instance memory training).

A ballpark number: let's say you write 20 articles, and let one or two of those be reviews of a product. Don't overdo it.

Write really good content, 1000 words with helpful content, not "fluff"-talk like: "Did you know that more than half of Americas population is overweight? Yes, I was shocked too. What if all of these lost weight, wouldn't that be great? So why don't they? As we all know, weight loss is the activity of losing weight. This can be done be eating less, or exercising more." just to hit 500 words ... It's fine for your 2.0s I guess, but not your money site ...

Then you do SEO, or pay someone to do SEO like I do. Make 10-15 2.0 directories where you write content, two articles in each ... then a link to your money site, schedule articles once every ten days or so to keep them fresh. Keep posting on them whenever, and link back to your money site link.

If you're good at SEO, but don't like writing ... Outsource your writing. If you don't like webdesign, outsource that. For me, writing has paid off as a good ROI -- both money-wise, and I'm learning English while doing it.

Hard work and testing is all there is to it. Build a list. When Google screws you over, and you have to resurrect your site, you can still drive traffic through your list. It's yours, and not dependent on anyone else.

Right now, I disavow links every day, massive negative SEO, between that and my job, I don't get to sleep much ;).

But I'm just buying more high auth links, writing more content and emailing my list. Earnings are still 200-300$ /day, but less of the high 1000-1800$ spikes than earlier. I know that their method won't work in the long run -- so I just do what I usually do.

On the good side: stocks are up $1200 today ...

Ohhh I kind of understand know. So in simple terms:
-Set up website on problem (memory training)
-Write Articles about it and of the 20 write 2 that are about a product you found a clickbank
-Pay for SEO to get the site highly ranked
-Sit back and watch the profit

Correct me if I am wrong haha I am just trying to grasp the idea.

Yes, pretty much. Climbed back in the SERPS a bit now, so far about 300$ today. Maybe we'll close in at around 500. Will get 6k from cb next week. Then I will also be onshore and can spend more time on my other online projects.

now that I got more content, i'll try and add some banner ads to the sidebar of the content pages, linking to Clickbank products.

I started to get a lot of PMs regarding this thread, and I really don't have time to answer. Site is still going strong, but the product has lost a bit of it's "schwung" now. Still making 500$ a week, without having touched it for half a year. Made over 20$k on Clickbank with this site alone this year so far in profit.

I don't use any software. Web 2.0s which I hit with shady high PR links, and hit the main page with less shady PR links. Social bookmarks, a forum post here and there, and a comment or two for diversity. I only use Scrapebox, just for bulk searches, scraping etc.

I've moved on to other projects now, PPC/Facebook and another 5 sites similar to this one, but monetized with CPA. This project has made me some good investment money for IM though. Still working my day job, which I enjoy and make good money, so all of this is just a bonus.

To update the figure in the first post: just over 80k$ in my investments now, after having invested more in IM, bought hardware, software and all that. Some of this is obviously increased value in stocks.

To anyone saying CB is saturated, took this screen cap a few months ago for someone saying just that. All good ol' SEO traffic ...
