    Authority Domain Journey [Clickbank/Amazon/CPA]

    Preamble

Today marks the day where I have made a conscious decision to commit to something that I strongly feel will better my future. Long time viewer, first time poster, I have been passively researching and learning from the many topics here at BHW. I have ventured through CPA and Social Media, tirelessly troubleshooting the many problems thousands have faced in IM until one day, I earned my first $1.00. To some that is nothing, but to me, clear cut affirmation that yes, there is money to be made in IM and YOU have the propensity to earn it. Upon this new realization I quickly started to look back at 3 key factors that I found greatly affected my previous endeavour. Research, execution and persistence.

As a basis of creating a solid plan to succeed on my journey, the research is massively important. I took no shortcuts in finding the most solid and relevant threads, bringing me to MeatHead1234's Seo-Jacking Method, and BassTrackerBoats's Build and Bank. Moreover, I will be using this thread and other relative posts to assist me in proactively smashing whatever obstacles come forth throughout this journey. Secondly, execution is another key factor that will greatly determine my success on this venture. I find myself to be a habitual procrastinator. Something that has greatly been impeding my progress in life. Seeing that procrastination directly affects execution and productivity, my objective is to reduce procrastination as much as possible by creating timing blocks, action lists, organized filing structures and procedures. I will be creating action lists every update which will layout the next 5 things that need to be accomplished before my next update. By creating timing blocks for each list item, I can better my productivity and hopefully reduce procrastination. I will be using google docs for all of my documentation in order to syndicate my workflow to all of my devices. Last but definitely not the least, persistence. While browsing through the forums there is one theme that seems to stand true for almost ALL the methods. Persistence, persistence and persistence. "Paralyze resistance with persistence" - Woody Hayes. The last factor which I will need to focus on will greatly be affected by this journey thread. As I will be documenting my progress and relaying my findings here, a big part of staying persistent will come from simply keeping this journey updated. As I have many time constraints, I feel that the safe thing to do would be to provide updates every 3 days in hopes to not fluster myself with too many deadlines.

    Objective

The objective of this journey is to plan, build, and market an authority domain, for which I can monetize through Clickbank, Amazon and CPA. I will be utilizing long-tailed keywords to rank as many pages as I can, and use Seo-Jacking (Social bookmarks / Blog comments / Forum comments) to bootstrap and profit for the short-term while ranking on SERPS for the long run. As I am dealing with time constraints, I will be looking to outsource and automate where ever possible, while staying within the rules set by Google. That being said, 65% of my earnings will be going into scaling the domain and creating quality automated procedures to assist in future ventures.

    Notes

It's been a long night and it's already 6:39 AM here. Time really does go by when you are productive. Well, not bad for an audaciously bold first post if I do say so myself. Anyhow, I'll be back soon with an update. :)

Keyword research ended up taking much longer than I expected. I opted to try a BHW service for an initial keyword set, as I figured that having two individuals take a look at the keywords, I would have some solidity with regards to the profitability of the chosen niche. Unfortunately much time was wasted contacting said vendors and I decided to ignore that plan and use SEMRUSH to get an initial keyword set from competitors in my prospective niche.
