Journey to $100 a Day w/ Youtube Adsense

Good work has you progress. Is there any tutorial out that can guide who-be youtuber on the best steps to follow.

how much views do you get out from you 14k subscriber base? I have around 14k and they rarely view my video maybe like 300-1000 views rest views are from organic traffic...

And are you boosting your videos with HR and normal (non retetion) views? if so can you tell me how much hr and normal view do you send?

Sometimes I get 400k views on a video sometimes 5k can you tell me how should I proceed after my video gets large amount of views like 400k example? Is there anything I can do to maintain the flow? Because after my video starts getting large amount of views like 1k an hour it fells off to 100 vph few days later

Also I think youtube + adsense is easier and faster compared to a blog because you need to rank on google if you want to earn big $$$ with your blog. And as we all know, ranking on google takes time and money.

Not marketing tools, i meant what video editing software do you use to do your content and voice over?

I too get about 600-1000 views from subscribed.

I'm not boosting my videos with views.

Figure out why people watched the video that was getting 400k+ views and replicate it (make something similar, with a similar title)

As for your views dropping from 1k an hour to 100, this may be because the audience retention is mch lower than your competition. Check your retention vs your competitors and you may find something interesting.

I also suggest making your thumbnail really bright and in-your-face. I get 71% of my views from suggested videos because of my thumbnails. So experiment!

Great thread, will keep following to see where you end up - is there anything you would recommend for small channels in less straightforward niches for growth? (skit/sketches etc)

Try and find facebook groups around that niche
Find a forum related to that niche and post your new videos

Earnings are increasing which is great. Never expected to hit the 50's. At this rate, if the weekend goes good. I should get at most $100. Then Monday will be a bit lower.

I'm continuing to upload once a day.

I will need to upload much earlier on saturday/sunday to get the most out of the weekend peak.

I am also buying a new laptop today on amazon since the laptop i'm using now is ancient and slow. Takes too long to render my videos and wastes time (about 2hrs!).

My desktop PC is much faster but I left it at home.

If anyone is wondering, I'm at university 2nd year.

Your results are really impressive to follow. What keeps blowing my mind right now is the amount of subscribers you have. Like the 14000 that you have seems insanely high for the amount of videos you have. Would you contribute most of that towards the giveaways that you do?

I try to push subscribing in the annotations as well as the description, but I've barely got 1000 subscribers now and my channel is like 3 years old. But I do have some viral videos. I'm at around 300,000 views with only like 12 videos or something. But you seem to be doing so much better.

Wow. $66 on Friday! I will surely hit $100 on Saturday I hope. If/when I do hit my goal, I will still update you guys!
And the amazing thing is that I can use affiliate marketing with my niche/audience really easily. I may upload an affiliate video tomorrow. Will need to do some planning.

When you spend as much time as I do trying to find a good niche, re-optimizing your videos & sniffing competition - you will find a gold mine that you can nurture.

It's funny because i'm stating to make more money than people on full-time jobs! Yikes.
 
You make it look so easy! Is there any tips for getting into the "suggested videos" better? And are there anything tricky to know about choosing keywords?
