1. The main reason why I like to stay away from crypto is because it's a niche which will stay relatively dead for years and will have a crazy spike for 1-2 years when the market is in the bull run. I consider myself lucky to be able to sell the channel at the peak of the cycle because if I still had that channel I'm pretty sure it would have just been dead. I'd rather start a crypto channel during the start of a bull run and sell it before the market goes red, just make sure you let the buyer know that he won't see similar stats in future because I think it's unethical to sell something like this.
2. I've an inhouse team and video production cost there is very low but obviously the quality isn't the best.

It took me 2-3 months to actually see any positive result, I burnt a lot of money initially which I do not regret at all now.

I started from a scratch, I wouldn't say I had any skill which helped me but I'll list down a few things which I think differentiated me from other people.
1. Perseverance - I kept going on without seeing any positive result for months
2. Money & Experience - I had experience with internet marketing and have made decent amount of money from the internet so I had that edge over newbies.
3. Passion - I was/am somewhat passionate about whatever I do to make money

November was really slower than expected (even though YT pays really good during Q4) as I've gotten quite lazy over the past few months and I was barely paying attention to the channels and to be very honest I saw this coming already and a very big reason for me to make this thread was that I become somewhat 'accountable'.

Anyway, here is what I am doing to make sure this gets better:
1. Started analyzing my main channels and started finding out the reasons for the fall in views.
2. Fired a few scriptwriters who were consistently performing poor and onboarded new writers.
3. Started a couple new channels in different niches to diversify more.

I am positive I'll start to see more views January onwards, let's see how it goes.

2. It allows me to stay on track and most importantly I think it'll help me explore new opportunities in the same domain (YouTube) by getting in touch with other fellow members who're doing YouTube.

I was looking to get into this as well a while back.

How much did you initially spend before you saw any results?

How many videos did you post until seeing these results?

Did you buy a monetized channel to begin with or monetize them yourself over time?

What would be a good number to invest in something like this to see possibly the best results? (even though it is random of course)

If you're getting paid $45K per month, YT is making at least 10x that much...and you're doing all of the work.

Google doesn't take 90% of the profit. It's about a 50/50 split generally.

Great results also gonna start YT automation for sure.

Well, browse YouTube and look for channels you can replicate. You just have to make sure you're making content as good as that channel if not better.

1. I probably drained $5k before seeing anything positive.
2. 100 before I saw any good result
3. I have never bought a monetized channel till date, I just don't like the idea of that because the channels I'm building might bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars in their lifetime and I just do no feel comfortable doing that on a channel which 'belonged' to someone else in the past, I fear it getting reverted back, although the chances of it happening is very slim and there are ways out there to prevent it but I just do not feel comfortable doing that and I really love to have my peace of mind.
4. I think it truly depends on which niche you're in and how much you know about the game. But yeah, you can start safely with a couple thousand dollars.

It's a 55/45 split. Youtube has thousands of full-time employees, it's hosting almost a billion videos, it's bringing in advertisers, it's basically doing everything for me and providing me a platform to change my life. I do not feel the split is unfair at all.

I already have one monetized YT channel and want to create more channels.

My freelancer send me all the videos and I upload them + SEO... to all my channel (i will hire a team later)

So I need your advice to be safe for this setup:

1gmail/YT channel
1gmail/Adsense account (friends...)

Can I create and manage more YT channels from the same device?
How can I verify all the channels?
What is the safe way to create more Adsense accounts (friends and family info...)?

This is crazy. Here was me thinking that the golden days of Youtube Ad Revenue were over since the Adpocolypse back in 2017-2018, but you definitely proved me wrong. I guess it also heavily depends on what niche you are choosing to work with. Thanks for this motivating thread and good luck with December. Highest Revenues of the year in Youtube.

I also got some questions after my 5 years of YouTube (but with lot of give ups, depression, financial problems, etc...)

1 - i bought a monetized channel from a great seller last year that i transformed to crypto niche and stopped after some months, last month i decided to switch it to coding/web dev content since it's better on the long run and i am into coding now, results are fair enough for 7+ videos (100-400 views). The main problem is the old videos before i buy the channel are still exploding and getting me lot of views from Arab users cause the videos are in arabic and about Birds. I kept them cause they were making me money lol. The question here is: Will these videos damage my journey with coding content? the channel itself is ranking for arabic birds videos and i am doing coding english content like Web Dev Simplified, may the algo be just be lost now and derank me from ranking on coding content?

2- do you believe in dead channels? (killed and can't be revived)

3- following your answer on 2-, my main channel (monetized) is gaming started since 2017, this channel has seen lot of give ups and reviving and went into different games, from GTA 5 to fortnite to Age of Empires, etc... but the main niche is gaming. Now i consider the channel dead, since whatever i do i can't get on the browse features. I don't know what to do. What do you suggest?

PS: all my content is self made from showing my face to editing, thumbnails, seo... nothing is outsoured.
