journey to 10$ a day (minimum wage a day in my country)

i was introduced to IM by my friend who started making money online at age 15, we are 21 now and i want a piece of the cake too.

a few days ago i finished what you guys consider the most important part of making money which is keyword research.

now i'm working on webpage design and buying the domain and setting everything up.


what i did this week:
  • bought domain from namecheap
  • friend is hooking me up with free hosting for a few months, it sucks but it's free :3
  • started messing around with a free theme but wasn't satisfied with it and i could not find a cracked premium one in the internet so i plunked 50$ for a new one on themeforest. pretty happy with the purchase
  • making 2 filler articles just to fill the webpage up
i made some calculations and my pessimistic, average, and optimistic gross profit a month is gonna be 35, 145, and 360, respectively.

i wasn't made to work for other people, that's why im here.

How are you monetizing the site? Adsense or Amazon affiliates? Or what else?
 
Aim higher! Where I am minimum wage is the same as yours, so I say why not go for more! Maybe 50, 100 a day. We can do this.
 
I like the fact that your aims are realistic.

For me, that is one great advantage because a part of the IM enthusiast crowd gets the adrenaline checking out the $5000/day methods and journeys and give up easily when they cannot bring home that amount.

You're already a step further than most people who tend to start with $0 - getting a free .tk domain and a free hosting with free theme. The $50 you invested in a premium theme will prove its mettle in the long run. I am not against free hosting but a good advice would be to back up your site every now and then because you don't want to lose the progress you've made in case of unprecedented events.

yeah, 10 dollars a day is like i'm working a shitty job 9-5 where i live, only that i dont have to work like a slave to earn it.

taking things one step at a time is really useful, since its much easier to achieve whatever goal you have in mind, i used to be like that too and drool when my friend told me about his monthly net profit.

i need to take the time to back it up so if i get hacked or something happens i dont have to start from scratch. guess i'll do it next week.
 
are you doing your page in english or spanish ?

  • continued tweaking my site in search of perfect aesthetics
  • created about 10 filler articles and added high quality images taken from google
  • added transparent logo
  • created all the categories necesary
i hope 10 dollars ain't that hard to generate.

yeah i haven't had much luck with spanish niches (have only tried CPA though, 1.5% conversion across the board, 10 cents a lead) the payouts are smaller, however spanish niches are less developed so there is less competition so it has pros and cons.

need to create social profiles tomorrow and join a few niche related forums to build traffic, won't pay for links yet.
 
just keep working on it. whats important is you start on it, the earlier you start the earlier you learn how to earn
