I have been trying to make money online for 2 years without much success. The first year of my journey I tried profiting from buying silver jewelry from ebay and selling them at higher prices on other online marketplaces. Sounds simple and like it's not gonna work right? :D I still got about $150/month from that. I know it's not much but at the time making any type of money online was already good for me. I was able to do that for 8 months before the admin shut down my store for a very stupid reason not worth knowing.

Then comes the second year, I got into clickbank and CPA. The learning curve was steep as I lost all the profit I made from my previous ebay business and some more from my own pocket to buying useless WSO, useless bots, Facebook PPC campaigns etc. However I did learn a great deal and I think that's gonna benefit me in my future online money-making endeavor.

So recently I learned about selling restricted items on ebay. It's very profitable but has high risk of having your account banned. This, coupled with the fact that each account has a very low selling limit and that ebay take a hefty sum from your sales make this seem like not such a good idea. However, I have just found a niche that I can sell each item for a nice <$5 profit. Yes, that's not much but I have an eBay account that has a 200-item selling limit per month so that could add up to $800-$1000/month, plus I will be buying new stealth eBay accounts at $250/account and using them to increase my item limit.

Good luck on your journey and I wish you success! While you may now make much at first, we all have to start somewhere so if you find yourself to be successful with this, even if it's on a small scale, you can eventually scale it up to make larger profits. My advice is to just not give up in the beginning if you're not making any money and keep working hard and stay dedicated and eventually you'll find your "niche". :)

WHAT I HAVE DONE SO FAR:

    - Listed 14 items on ebay (Even when it was new year's eve :))
The reason I list so few is because I'm afraid I might get caught by ebay if I do it on a big scale

    WHAT I NEED TO DO:
    - List the same 14 items on another online market place and use Google shopping for traffic.
    - Read more about creating stealth ebay accounts and stay low-key so that ebay doesn't notice me. I'll read eBay Stealth Guide 3.0 for that.

What's with BHW's system? When I tried to thank people posting in my thread, it says I cannot since I was posting links but there weren't any links.

And I can't reply to people who PM me since I don't have 15 post. Such disadvantage for newbie.

eBay deleted 2 of my listings due to VERO. Well still have 12 items that are alive. I hope they can survive for some time.

    COMPLETED:
    - Listed 11 items on the new marketplace.

    NEED TO DO:
    - Revise those 11 items to make them look better
    - List another 5 items on there
    - Read through eBay Stealth Guide 3.0

    PROFIT:
    Sold 13 items: Profit (after deducting 20% eBay+Paypal fees+shipping fee) = $50.43

Wow, my restricted items are selling like hot cakes. No wonder they are restricted :) I just hope this stay long enough for me to get some decent capital to get into PPC-CPA or something like that.

    Sold: 20 items
    Profit (after paypal+ebay+shipping fees): $77.02
    Total Profits so far: $127.45

    WHAT I DID YESTERDAY:
    - I couldn't do anything much yesterday other than put another popular product in my niche onto ebay since I was having to do my 9-5 work and having some social obligation.

    WHAT I NEED TO DO:
    - DO GOOGLE SHOPPING FEED FOR MY CURRENT 11 ITEMS ON NEW MARKETPLACE
    - Read through ebay stealth guide 3.0

Good luck on your journey! I have one question. How will you deal with the 21 day payment hold? Won't eBay freeze your money if they find out let's say in 10 days after sale?

Yes, 1/3 of my money is being held up in Paypal right now and I'm not gonna be able to get them until Jan 22nd. I'm gonna have to transfer the fund into my bank account now then :(

Right now I'm averaging at about $4 profit/item sold so I think it's gonna take me about 65 items to break even :)

Wow, after several days, my profit got up to over $300. However they've just limited my Paypal permanently and I won't be able to withdraw my money after 180 days. Strangely, after 3 MC999 strikes, my eBay account is still fine lol. I just cannot list anymore without a normal-functioning Paypal account.

So what I am going to do now:
    1. Buy a new set of eBay + Paypal accounts together for $250 and start selling again. This time I know what to do to avoid the MC999 strikes.
    2. Try to get my old Paypal account back and immediately transfer the money to my bank account.
    3. List my items on other online marketplaces
