The purpose of this thread is to document my attempt at launching an "agency" on OnlyFans (OF), receive some feedback, some advice, and perhaps just some company in this solo pursuit. I’m an oldish guy and multi-time failed entrepreneur. Some small wins here and there but mostly losses, I suck at execution lol. Trying again and again until I get this figured out.
My focus is on OF due to its potential for high ROI, total net revenue, and certainty of outcome based on my research. I hope to build unconventional marketing skills I think can be applicable to e-commerce, funnel development, and other areas.
I started this journey a little over 21 days ago after watching numerous YouTube videos. Reading this forum inspired me to begin my journey post, so here we are.
Quick Recap:
- I’ve failed a lot in previous entrepreneurial attempts.
- I officially started about 21 days ago with $500 from savings.
- I need/needed to make cash quickly.
- I’m oldish and kind of retarded.
Targets:
1. 6 months to reach 100k monthly revenue (seems crazy I told you I'm retarded)
2. 100 subs per day (paid or free, don't care for now). 1 month average.
3. Automate 95% of operations through code/no-code tools, hiring contractors, and SOP/process development. No timetable for this.
4. Build out agency-dependent traffic capabilities. No timetable yet.
5. Reduce cost to achieve 40-60% profit. No timetable yet.
I may update these goals later.
SUMMARY (SHORT)
Current Status:
(A) Revenue: $500 average daily revenue across 2 models for the last 7 days, $300 daily average for the week prior.
(B) Models: 2 models signed on a net revenue split.
(C) Chatters: 3 chatters hired internally on a net revenue split.
(D) Traffic: 5-10 subs per day on across both models.
Areas of Focus:
- Traffic
- Chatters
- Automation & organization (last)
Weaknesses:
- Traffic
- SOPs and organization
- Tracking expenses
- Organizing content
- Overthinking and chasing shiny objects
- Tracking key metrics and delegation
SUMMARY (LONG)
Current Status (Detailed):
(A) Revenue:
- Averaging $500 daily revenue for almost 7 days, mainly due to solid chatters. 24/7 coverage is key.
- I emphasize rapport and rely on chatters to handle chatting. I’ve never chatted and I never will chat. It’s a blackbox and I’m likely going to keep it that way.
(B) Models:
- Signed 2 models on a net revenue split.
- 1 model with 10k followers on IG, other model with no social media previous agency kept it all
- Rebuilt social media accounts for all models
- Created a crude IG automation in a browser based on some business lead agency videos.
- Moved from IG to directly targeting models on OF with low like-to-photo ratios, filtered them with an application process, and signed the best ones.
- Spent $20 on an IG account with followers, turned off comments, and posted collage images.
- Built a crude agency website in Shopify using a 3 month trial hack.
- I handle all incoming revenue and payout to models from an intermediary account every 2 weeks, granting me nearly immediate reliable access to cash flow.
- Will stick with these two models until we’re generating $1k in total daily revenue before considering bringing on a third model.
(C) Chatters:
- Hired 3 chatters internally on commission after creating an Airtable application and promoting it in various Telegram groups.
- Developed a process to vet applicants beyond basic metrics, including completing the application, following instructions, and demonstrating solid English skills.
- Set up three 8-hour shifts and hired the best applicants on a trial basis. The best chatter took initiative to train others and improve SOPs.
- Chatters are paid 0-10% during an 8-hour trial shift and 10-20% of revenue thereafter. I plan to reduce this percentage later but currently focus on handling by competent people.
(D) Traffic:
- Achieving 5 subs per day on each model, primarily through aggressive IG mother slave tactics and an adult social network site.
- Plan to explore and develop funnels on the adult social networkings site.
- Plan to try dating apps after getting 25 subs per day on the above two.
- Don't want to rely on the models at all for content, might be hurting myself here with this mindset
Content:
- Focusing on agency dependent traffic means I don't rely on content from the models however I have a feeling I'm playing in hard mode here. I'd like to rely on the models as little as possible.
- Content request revolve around sets and scripts now where scripts are sets that are used exclude in chatting. I've relied on my chatters to detail what scripts they want/need. I simply pass this on to the models.
- Promoted one of the chatters to content lead, she manages it all and coordinates with chatters to ID opportunities zones.
Main End of Month Goals (end of July):
- 25 subs per day with IG mother-slave
- 25 subs per day with adult social networking sites
- 25 subs per day with datings apps
- 25 new model applications through paid ads
- $1k daily revenue average
- 20% profit margin
Some Other Long Term Goals:
- Wholly owned sovereign traffic assets that can be turned on for any model at any time on a 24 hours notice
- Wholly owned chatter recruitment and hiring pipeline
- Wholly owned VA/ops recruitment and hiring pipeline
- Wholly owned aged account builds (i.e. IG, FB, etc)
- Turn every cost center into a business either solely owned or through JV (e.g. wholly owned multi jurisdiction mobile proxy setup)
- Internal automations and tools
Needs and wants:
- Traffic joint ventures, open to negotiation ideally pure rev split or costs plus rev split
- SOPS around content, tracking finances, etc
- Running IG/FB ads directly to OF traffic without using my own details on Facebook.
- Hire social media content VAs to improve posts on socials, enhance content request of models, and perhaps repurpose existing content
