Hi guys!
After operating a content writing business for a long time and working with multiple affiliate marketeers, I've finally decided to launch one of my own projects.

The objective? Revenue: $2,000/month by February 2022.

I used to be in this affiliate marketing business around 6-7 years ago when Clickbank used to be quite famous, but then just started tilting full time towards content and never really got back to affiliate marketing till now. Special thanks to a very good friend of mine who I met on BHW who motivated me to take it back on and whose working with me on this project as-well!

The recent site focuses purely on revenue generation through Amazon commissions, and we've kicked it off with registering a fresh domain. Please do note that I've carefully chosen a niche to ensure that none of my NDA's or Non Competes are impacted (since I work with affiliate marketeers in my other line of business). Similarly, none of the clients who I'm serving presently have been active or are active in the current niche.

So here it goes..

We recently registered a fresh domain (around a month ago). Even though a lot of people suggested that we take an old expired domain, we just found the domains on the niche we're targeting to be overpriced and were not really able to find what we were looking for and thought we could easily get out of the sandbox effect if we were patient for the next 2-3 months and continued to add content and work on foundational links.

Our current plan is to add around 80,000-100,000w per month on the site with a mix of 60% Reviews and 40% Info content. We have so far added about 70k words in May and will continue to add each month. (20-30k was added in the last day or two so is not visible in the impressions below)

Guest posts / back links we'll start once the site starts to age since we don't want to be too pushy with google.

Quite pleased with the first round of content that we've published as it has indexed easily and is already starting to see impressions within 3 weeks. Next aim is to add links and start interlinking to support ranking and move up the ladder.

Wish me luck!! Will share another update soon.

How's it going?

All the best for your journey. It must be nice to not worry about content writing when you have your own agency.

Content is my #1 stress.

I foresee this site growing really fast because you have a content agency, therefore you have the solution to the biggest problem most affiliate marketers have - publishing quality content. 80K+ words per month will result in rapid growth.

Edit: Forgot to say...good luck :)

As you said you are in content writing business for a long time then it's really easy to achieve your goal because these days google don't care about link building they just focus on long content with decent amount of words. Good luck with your journey bro, I am following you.

Hi guys,
Sorry had been away for a few days to take care of some personal stuff. Thank you all for the wishes!

Unfortunately unable to attach a snapshot for some reason, but I will narrate everything below and will attach GSC snapshot once my Imgur account is sorted, hopefully later today.

So we've managed to post around 200,000w in almost 1.5 months - Ratio is around 50% Reviews and 50% info. Will slow content posting for the next 1-2 months but will nonetheless aim to post around 10-15k per week vs. what we've been doing in the past, as the aim is to start diverting the $$ to links.

During June we got foundation links work completed and we're now starting to focus on outreach and guest posts. Once that is done in July, the aim is to go for high DA backlinks and spend some big $$ to start letting google know that we're serious.

The site is still relatively new i.e. the domain is only 2 months old, but the best part has been that all articles have indexed with a breeze. Impressions have now started going up to almost 50-60 per day and getting a few clicks here and there. The overall ranking is now between 40-45.

Amazon account has also been signed up and product images + referral links are being incorporated. Our objective is to ensure that we get our first sale by end of August and reach a solid backlinks profile by then with 300,000w on the site.

Let's hope that it works out since I've already spent quite a bit and our objective is that by the end of August, the site is able to finance itself for Content at-least (even though I run a content business, I still charge myself for the opportunity cost that I've had to incur) :)
