[Journey] Started from the bottom and be a famous artist!

Hello all my friends! Hope you are well!
I want you to discover a new thing that we plan to do!


The Idea is to develop my best friend to become a rap artist in the world of music. It's not really rap, it's a mix of rap and rnb (The Weeknd, NAV, Durk). We come from France and we don't have this style in France, the goal is to touch all countries. But especially France. The advantage we have so far is that we have money to invest with a football player in Europe (Even if money is nothing without quality).


The plan is to be active all the time on social networks for him (We really think to recruit a team of three for that and pay per month)
.Use followliker to make us famous and make us known on Facebook, Instagram, twitter, spotifly, youtube and soundcloud.
.Make quality music, and be very present in it.


The goal is to make a lot of sound this year, to be known everywhere. We think about 1 whole year for that. And next year begin to release a project and start approaching other artists known for featurings. (Negotiate the price)



Trying to sign a partnership with a big label, put sounds on radios, youtube vlogs, youtube reactions, organize a tour, do a lot of traffic on streaming and youtube and be certified on social networks would really be the overall answer to the project.


I will update this topic once a week, every Sunday.

For the moment, we are running around 500-600 on Instagram and Soundcloud. The rest is in creation!

Thank you for the idea! For now we gather all the information and all the interesting sites that would allow to climb quickly.

Forgot to add onto my earlier comment. Do some ORM. Buy package of web 2.0 profile creations (such as these, these or these) to secure your name. Buy your domain name that way you can start building your online presence. Use PR when you meet milestones and do major announcements etc. these will also rank and secure your reputation/presence. Doing ORM will help you look professional and legit. when people start searching online for you etc.

I had an agency and the path with artists we found that made the most money was:
1. Build wide fanbase to make you famous - you just need 1 album for this.
2. Identify core fanbase - create disciples.
3. Creat merchandise to sell to disciples.

Very much so. Proactive ORM is vital. @Zwielicht wrote a great guide here. Securing profiles etc. will help you control the first page of Google for terms you want to dominate (in this case your name). That way the profiles you create will come up when someone does a Google Search for your name and related keywords. If you don't claim these then you run the risk of having pages on the first page that are either unrelated or negative that could hurt your brand.

The great thing about parasite pages is that if your name or business' name is unique, creating pages on these popular websites is often all you need to do to get them to rank for a name.

Say I owned a pizzeria called Holzr Pizza and I had not done any proactive ORM. People who search my name will likely find unrelated results or pages for my competitors. If a bad review comes online then it's going to stick out like a sore thumb on the first page when someone types in Holzr Pizzeria. Since it will likely be from somewhere like Yelp (which is highly authoritative) it will likely rank number 1 and people will see the low star rating right at the top of the results putting them off.

The same concept works with people. You want to control the first page of Google and the content on it. You want to control what is written on all those pages so that they are both relevant and positive. Having a presence will also make you look bigger than you likely are and people will possibly trust you more. So you could buy your domain name rank that and rank a store page and rank the pages you want people to visit when they search your name (spotify, soundcloud etc.)

Cool! Thank you for your message, but it's a long time before you can make an album. I think you need a good fanbase before you can release a project (Album or Mixtape)..

I'd stay away from bots at first. Take a secondary approach by pushing your YT videos via aggressive social sharing w relevant hashtags, then make sure to engage w anyone who comments

Can I listen to some of the music?
Btw the secret for a quick start is in those YT channels that make reactions to music videos.. It's a form of "influencer" marketing, cheap and effective.

For the moment I don't want to share his work. He work on new things now on studio. But yes you have right!! The plan will be to contact a lot of Youtuber to see if they are interested

I heard Soolking, the French-Algerian, became famous through "Reaction" marketing with his song Vida Loca lol

Yes yes! That the goal use youtube reaction and vlog. I will do a team on a freelance website to ask youtubers!
The goal for Instagram will be 50K real French Followers and some other followers who like. We expect between 1500 and 7000 like per photo.
For Twitter, facebook and youtube we expect between 10k and 30K and some views on youtube.
We expect that for the end of the year...
