Good luck. following
Ok is it your business is online business or offline business,if offline business it can you can call the employee of the company that you have a project that they want to and they will pay you for the start just target the small and medium business first and then build portfolio and scale it to large companies or business
Still building my website with basic pages such as Home, About, Portfolio, Blog and Contact.
I think it is about 50% as of now.
I designed my own logo, just a simple and basic one. (I want to improve my logo in future)
Used a free theme. (I will change this theme also in future with a premium theme)
I checked the YT channel of Alex Berman and watched a few, so far I think the content will be helpful for me. Especially the Email templates (and he is an expert in this). I am still finding a good video on his channel about finding clients or leads for my web design service.
Problem? Nah, Challenge!
Haha it feels like the universe is stopping me in this journey.
My mouse is now acting faulty, hardware problem, I think it's about the wire hahaha
and my laptop touchpad is acting weird, the left click of the touchpad is clicking automatically.
I'm gonna find another mouse, Bluetooth mouse maybe to avoid hassle with wires.
And also our house (i am living with my parents, 24 years old) is under construction, my room specifically so I don't have a room as of now, and will occupy the living room temporarily.
But again, Fuck This Shit, No reasons!!!
I am still afraid of cold calling if that is what you meant. Hahaha I will definitely try cold calling companies, but not now.
What I will try as for starter is cold email, and few follow up emails.
The email is to set up a meeting with the potential client and I'll try to close a deal during the meeting.
Ohh ok then enoryt you know based on my internship in public companies i cold email about 30 travel companies to join our expo and guess what keep it try i get 1 who interest and one again still in process
dont afraid my friends its okay keep calm (y)
I just asking , how many email you sending daily and what service are you useing to send them .
""cold"" email marketing is very expensive with smtp setup .
have you fort of a opt-in method to get a good converting list in your niche .
i wish you luck , i am shocked $400 per month to build pc all day , very bad wages in uk £60 to £80 about Normal a day , in a shop 9 till 5 .....
gd luck m8
Good luck. Why are you not considering social media as a lead generation source?
Good luck mate. Keeping going
I'm very sorry for the delayed update.
To be honest, I didn't finish my website for a week, instead, it took me 10 days to finish it until today.
So lesson learned. I need to be honest with my own skills and be reliable with my plans for the future.
Anyways, I finished my basic website, with the landing page, contact page, about page and services page and portfolio page (I haven't done a full website for portfolio, just an edited landing page in Canva )
My website needs improvement and I'll do the improvements on the road.
So on to the next step, I am now thinking, maybe I should create one full website portfolio instead of three.
I read from other posts that instead of doing a 3 full website portfolio, just make a photoshop (in my case Canva) image of landing pages.
I think it is a better solution and faster way of having a portfolio.
I didn't finish my deadline on time so NO reward for me now.
Still grinding. No excuses, no delaying tactics.
FUCK THIS SHIT!.
Thanks pal, I'm looking forward for my first client
For now, I don't have any automated software to be used. I will be manually sending the emails but with the use of Google Chrome Extension and Google Sheets. I saw this method from Alex Berman YT Channel, check it out dude.
For the opt-in method, I'm still on the way of learning it haha so as of now I can't answer your question about that.
That is why I don't want to be a slave in a 9-5 job. I want this freelancing venture.
Hmmmm thats a good point haha. I am now also questioning myself.
Can you suggest methods for social media lead generation?
All I can think of now is creating my own Facebook Page then I'll join different Facebook Groups related to businesses in my local area and provide value first, warm up and then offer my service (web design) for their business.
I just finished my Facebook Page.
I am ready to join groups, maybe 3 - 5 for starters.
Hopefully, I can manage this page efficiently.
I still have 2 week remaining in September.
I will finish at least 1 full website portfolio and collect some potential leads as this month ends.
September Goal: $0
Best of luck with your journey. I will following
