I actually already make $xxx, xxx / year in this niche over 5 websites that I have build over the 3 years that I have been doing this. If you want to know how I do it, just know that I work like a permanently squatting gopnik who happens to have a laptop in front of him.

So I told people how I do my SEO for the most part in this thread that I published yesterday:
    https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/a...my-seo-and-backlinks-cost-effectively.906566/

Now I have made another website, separate from my existing network that I will use only for writing articles in my niche with affiliate links in them. It is that simple.

I will be writing these articles with my article-writing team.

    This is my operation:

    1) Find keywords that I can rank for without having to build many backlinks. Each keyword will consist of 2-4 words.
    2) Write a SEO optimized-article for it with good-paying affiliate link, and link the article from my homepage. Try to write at least an article every other day. Article features:
    - 2000 words at least. Many subheadings, perfect English, easy and interesting to read.
    - List form, as discussed in my other thread.
    - 10 images of the 10 affiliate goods I am selling + 10 image buttons that link to my affiliate products on external websites.
    3) See where it pops up in the ranks and only after a month, and then build any backlinks if necessary. I hardly do this though.
    4) Repeat.

I will be sharing three things at the beginning of every month:

    1) How much I have made the previous month.
    2) A screen-shot of my rankings.
    3) Monthly traffic.

    ---

    1) For Dec-Jan I made $30 but I have spend one day adding a few affiliate links. I then found some really good affiliate programs, and then thought damn, let me do this more seriously.
    2) Screenshot:
    3) Monthly stats: 1994 sessions, 1291 users, 37.3% returning visitors, 62.7% new visitors.

I have not started this journey for encouragement, but to show yall that it is possible.

I like the concept. Do you have any filters you stick to in terms of searches a month or is that entirely niche dependant?

A very popular, paid Wordpress theme that I bought from ThemeForest. I stay away from free ones.

Not sure what you are asking. On my website, I will be addressing different niches that is all part of a larger industry that is well known. So let us say that is the broader industry is fashion, I will be addressing shoes, but also jeans.

When picking these keywords on shoes and jeans I'm assuming you look at the search volume? When going with this little to no backlink approach would you target say "blue shoes for fat feet" at 100 searches or nothing below "finding nemo shoes" at 10,000 - or do you leave this entirely up to the niche?

    Thanks dude!

This is a very good question. Yes, I do look at volume and pick xxx keywords, because x,xxx is simply too competitive at this point. You can probably tell by my statistics that I have been targeting xxx only. 37 keywords but traffic is less than 1300 users / month. My niches are highly competitive, that is why.

Writing 2000 word articles for searches in the hundreds. Must be some buyer intent in those key phrases.

Once you have a site established do you write pages for bigger keywords or move on to a new site?

Good strategy. Content rich websites are the way to go if you want to succeed in the long run. Can you tell us what affiliate networks you plan to use to monetize your websites.

An interesting journey thread. Which affiliate network do you planning to use for this ?

I guess you are using Wordpress so are you using static home page or all posts in home page ?

Not going to reveal the affiliate networks. I fuck around with Visual Composer to make it look appealing, and yeah it is a static homepage.

People build entire businesses around xxx keywords in this niche, so a ranking article is an outstanding result for me. I will move to bigger niches and I will cover it in this journey too. I build every website to an authority site eventually.

I would rather not say. But almost all top-selling Wordpress themes on ThemeForest are great because of the full customization abilities.

We did not ask you your niche. There is nothing secret about affiliate networks. One can find top performing affiliate networks in offervault.com and in various reviews on the net

He still isn't under any obligation to give it out. He's not selling anything and if he has a reason not to share we just accept it. You said it yourself - use Offervault if you're looking for a network.

The affiliate networks will reveal the niches as they are specifically designed for it.

    UPDATE 1 January - 31 January:

I have just been writing more content and publishing it. I built no backlinks whatsoever, and my website has experienced steady natural growth:

    Stats for January:
    - 2969 sessions (increase of 48% from last month)
    - 1999 users (increase of 54% from last month)
    - 34.5% returning visitors - 65.5% new visitors
    - 75.1% organic search, 21.9% direct, 1.7% social, 1.2% referral

    Indexed pages in Google: 157

    My keyword positions:

As I've added a few that I started tracking, but not nearly as many as I would like. I also fell from a few top 3 positions, but that does not bother me. I suspect because I have started adding more links to the homepage, which lowered the overall link juice.

    My earnings:

I earned $76.26 this month, which is an 154% increase from last month.

What I will do for February:

I have around 15 articles lined up to write in the list format that I have discussed in the other thread. I want to publish them this month, but I'm not confident it's going to work out. The new articles are more competitive and will function to increase my commission.

excellent journey, how many articles did you have in December and how many do you have now?
