Been lurking here for a while asking questions reading tried things/methods.
Today I am starting a proper journey and I will keep at it and hopefully it will turn out to success.
The journey will be basically adsense + Pintrest . I have no experience with Pintrest but I'm getting used to it. So without further BS here is what I am going to do.

    Method (standard adsense + pintrest)
    1 Wordpress blog.
1 Pintrest account (will add more as soon as I get things rolling).
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The blog is in the recipes niche for those who might want to know.

For Pintrest its all manual, and I am following targeted people on Pintrest.
To do this I simply search for my nice, find a popular well reputed board and then you can see the people who follow that board. If the you follow them I am assuming that you have a better chance of being followed.
I will also be joining boards in the same niche and get some traction that way.

I also have created some boards(4) but will obviously create at-least 15-20 boards to accommodate my sub-niches.

For the blog, I choose a simple wordpress blog which I will try to customise it so it looks good and get adsense rolling.

For content I am actually going to rewrite recipes manually hoping to gain some search engine hits and not solely rely on Pintrest.
For images, this is where I'm concerned, if I use duplicate photos will adsense shoot me down?
I am trying to figure out a method to make them as unique as possible but its turning to be a difficult task.
I already have a adsense account about 4 years old so will be using that.

Near Future - As soon as I get things running I will probably get a decent pintrest bot AND I will get will make a facebook page and get it as popular as possible using Addmefast or whatever. I will also post in related FB groups which should produce some nice juice.
    So far:
    Got domain/hosting
    Installed wordpress and theme
    Some theme customisation.
Rewrite 1 recipe(I guess its a start right?)
Contacted several freelancer for rewriting services.

    Earnings: 0
    Followers: 500

Will be updating this Journey as often as I can since I'm super busy during this time of the year.
Feel free to ask questions or give suggestions.
If you are starting out on a similar journey feel free to add me on skype, maybe we can share our thoughts with one-another.
    PEACE!

Well done on taking action buddy!

I've seen many affiliates make crazy money with pinterest + clickbank (as the latter is the area I'm involved in). I know you will be using adsense, but I thought the following beginner strategy that I like to share with my affiliates may still prove useful to you:

A generalized method to using pinterest + clickbank:

    1. Pick a niche and relevant CB product

    2. Make 5-15 boards all in the niche you picked but targeting different aspects and each should have a unique name. E.g. if the niche is shin splints, then the boards can be - "Shin Splint Cures", "Home Shin Splint Remedies", "Stretches For Shin Splints", "Shoes For Shin Splints", "I hate shin splints", "Shin splint recovery motivation", etc...

    3. Each day, pin 25-40 images you scraped from the web (some bots will do this for you) and include your website url in 25% of them. The website url will be either your cloaked affiliate link or better - an niche-relevant MNS. The latter will increase conversions and is safer.

    4. Each day, re-pin 25-40 images, but make sure you delete links to other websites.

    5. Each day, comment on 25-40 pins; this will help increase exposure to your account and boards, and will attract followers

    6. Each day, like 25-40 pins. Most people will like you back and some will follow you.

    7. Each day, follow up to 100 users. Again, most users will follow you back.

With this method, you should start making sales within 2-3 days, assuming you have picked a good-converting niche.

It is fairly easy to use pinterest to market products - it's pretty much pin, repin, comment, like and follow. The key is to use a bot to automate the tasks, as it would take a lot of time to do these tasks manually. There are several good pinterest bots sold by BHW members for good prices - check out the marketplace threads.

Thanks for the tip, I thought about it but I never worked with CB before. I plan to get the adsense project rolling then might make a separate website (possibly similar niche) and use some sort of bots.
    Thanks!

It can be hard for beginners to start with Pinterest, I was there, now I'm doing pretty well without much effort, so I'd like to help you.
I got couple of group boards with x,xxx- xx,xxx followers in recipe niche and I'm willing to send you invitation for free of course, only thing you need to do is avoid pinning unrelated pins to those boards. PM me and I'll give you the details.
EDIT: and avoid excessive pinning so you don't get removed from the board

Good luck OP with your journey.

The method by Mancar works, but I got hard time making it workout for me. The reason was that 70%+ traffic for me was from Pinterest mobile app, and with the banners that I promote CB products, I got clicks inside pinterest apps and when someone tries to buy, they would just open out in a browser from the app (where I lost my hoplinks).

So I intently promote only those CB products that keep our hoplinks id intact in their url, so that sale gets attributed to me even if it is opened outside from app. For example venusfactor removes your hoplinks id (work on cookies base) while 3weekdiet doesn't remove it.

So just keep a note of your traffic in analytics...if it is mostly from desktop, no problem in promoting any CB product. If it mostly from app..then promote just those product that keep your affid intact (like example.com?hop=bhw)

When you say niche-relevant MNS, do you mean pinning a scraped photo but the link is to your MNS? I thought thats not possible with pintrest?

    Update:
Got a writer to rewrite 100 recipes for $65 (Not sure if this is too cheap or expensive since I have never paid for rewriting services.)
The quality of the rewrite seems excellent and appears unique on google(hopefully)

Did some changes to the blog - added some plugins blah blah blah.

About to get pinblaster so I can get things moving.

Been thinking to change the style, instead of rewriting recipes, I might post part of it and then link the source (CREDIT: look-up puneetas3 journey for the method its very informative).
