I'll start by saying that this is my first post aside from my introduction (I am trying to follow all guidelines). Beginning these past few days, I took a deep look into the content on this site and I am absolutely hooked. I am writing post because after a few days of reading, I have come up with a plan that I'm fairly confident of and now it's time to chase it. On top of that there is a statistic claiming that those who write down their goals are 42% more likely to achieve them, sharing with friends increases that number to 72%. Here's my idea.

As the title suggests, I want a SEO business. Being a beginner just one or two clients would be even enough for now. What got me set on this idea was a submission by Taktical (Sorry newbie here, can't link, here is the title: How I built my offline SEO/Social Media empire earning $15,000 a month in three months!!!). For anybody interested, go read through and you'll get an idea of what I'm chasing.

Since this is my first attempt, I will be starting with a social media medium I am fairly familiar with - Instagram. I chose it because of it's easy navigation, quick follower acquisition, relevantly simple userbase, and most importantly can be access through my phone so I am always capable of checking up on things if I need to.

Here is the plan I have in my head. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Step one - Create a few accounts
Fairly simple step. Bunch of registrations, verifications, etc. I am particularly interested in creating a no-fail type of page, something like puppies, memes, funny pics, you get the idea.

    Step two - Like macro/bot
So a while back Instagram had a little update. Originally pictures were all in a 1:1 resolution which made using a like macro EXTREMELY easy. At this point, all aspect ratios are different and using a simple record and repeat macro won't work. I have looked into a software such as Ubot but haven't had success as the software is pretty outdated and isn't even able to load the page. Any suggestions would really be valuable but I can do more digging.

    Step three - Follow/unfollow bot
This one is easy. All the information is neatly presented, set up a recorded macro, nothing to worry about.

    Step four - Finding content
Another easy step. Honestly Reddit is going to be my source for 99% of the content and if anything, it's not difficult to get creative. I should really consider automating this process as well but we'll see.

Step five - Rinse and repeat
My goal is around 5k followers on each account. I'm imagining that with these tactics and with a bit of luck, it should be that difficult to get a bunch of kids/ dumb teenagers to be following my accounts. Being entirely honest this is a terrible tactic to market in my opinion. But in my instance marketing towards my followers isn't the picture but rather at the big boys with a lot of cash that I'll be ready to sign into contracts any day.

Step six - Figure out the rest
I can't say that I have this figured out till the very end yet. I can pretend that I do but the reality is that this is all a huge learning process with a lot of potential. With that being said, I have something to keep me occupied for now and if I start running out of things to do, other mediums exist and can all totally be automated just like this one. But remember that Taktical's post is where I want to end up.

Anyways, I hope for those reading that at least one person sees some light in me. I'll be working really hard these next couple of days and I'm really glad that just reading has started to convert into actions. I'll definitely update soon with details on the progress.

If anyone want's to throw out some ideas/suggestions like for the like bot situation, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you BHW and thanks for reading!

Yes. The whole point is that in the end there will be a selection of clients to choose from and the created accounts will be a sort of showcase to display that I am capable of delivering followers and such.

Update one of the current progress.

The first thing I did was I went and found a bunch of Android emulators. Just a small list of the emulators includes: Andy, Bluestacks, Droid4X, and the one I am currently using KoPlayer.

After finding my desired emulator capable of performing everything I needed it to, I duplicated it three times and set up each one with it's personal apps and accounts.

Figuring out the macro was a bit of a challenge. Everything seems to fail. I tried macros from my computer but they didn't work because the emulators didn't receive the clicks. Many emulators on the virtual devices flopped themselves just for no apparent reason sometimes. After a while of searching and a LOAD of experimenting, I settled on HiroMacro. The virtual devices were all rooted so the macro ran without a problem (after being configured that is).

Setting up the accounts were simple. Three accounts, short description on each, single picture. Nothing complicated.

So here is a screenshot of the current setup. Three devices, three Instagram accounts, three macros, everything is fully automated. Blurred usernames for my privacy.

So I let each macro run for about an hour and it seems I've already gained a tiny following on each account.

The next steps are to write/record more scripts and possibly blow this up on an even bigger scale. Will update soon!

You plan to use macro only ?
How about a license of a good software that manage this ? (I'm thinking of FollowLiker)

    Sorry for the late response.
The reason I'm using macros rather than purchasing software is that this is my first project. I understand that investment will always yeild greater return but I'm just not quite at that level yet.
Here is a screenshot of the current setup. Eight phones, each with their own macro. I once again removed names for privacy reasons. The first three accounts have been running for about three days, I have barely been touching them, only occasionally to create a post. The other five were created just ten minutes ago in goals of upscaling this entire project.

Overall things are going well. I'm barely touching any of the emulators and progress is going smoothly. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

Alright to anyone who may be interested, this will be a quick and probably the final update of my journey.

First of all I would like to announce that this journey was in my opinion a failure. Not entirely as it was a major learning experience and if anything increased my interactivity on the site. The reason why I consider it a faliure was because throughout these days I have stumbled upon alienacademy's journey which made me realize how much he has managed to blow me out of the water with his numbers haha.

Regardless, this was my first post and the hunger for that sweet sweet internet money remains. I will continue reading and testing new tactics. Thanks for anyone who has been keeping up!
