Hello,
As some of you may know if you've ever seen my posts, I am heavily into social media accounts and building them up. It is one of my greatest strengths in IM and in this journey I will be using this to my advantage, with the Crypto market slowly crawling it's way back up and the recent boom on 'memecoins' I thought why not take use this time to build a Crypto related news source. I've always wanted to create a website but I always talked myself out of it and to 'stick to what I know', until I had a thought to use what I know in assistance with what I don't. Here is the plan:
Plan
1. Create and learn how to build a website:
I will be using YouTube, ChatGPT and this forum to help me learn the basics of website creation.
2. Create and warm up social media accounts:
Crypto Twitter is HUGE and this I believe will be my main source traffic at the start, if I can get a thread that blows up with engagement it could be a really good headstart for my journey, TikTok will be my next platform of choice.
3. Figure out my content and how I will create it:
As a 'degen' on Crypto this part will be easy, most of my time is spent on CT (Crypto Twitter) so getting up to date news about what's happening and who rugged who will be easy. Twitter threads will be my main source as I have noticed threads is what is skyrocketing engagement and virality on Twitter, I will have one personal page and one branded page and post threads on both. My TikTok content strategy will be simple, I will record and 'expose' massive rugpulls, scams and drama happening in the scene, this content is proven to do good on TikTok.
4. Learn SEO
This will be the one I struggle with the most, even scrolling through BHW and seeing terms like 'interlinking, silo structure, keyword stuffing' is worrisome. I understand SEO is a long journey and is an everchanging field, so I must remember not to get discouraged.
5. Monetize!
Ah yes, the best part of a project. Marketing a crypto newsletter from a brainstorming POV looks lucrative, I could have up and coming exchange listings with an affiliate link to the exchange, Google Ads* will be good featuring projects on my website for a fee, the options are there for me to choose later.
6. Scale, Scale, Scale
If WHEN I get to my $10 a day target I will then look into scaling, by the time I get to this milestone I would have beginner-intermediate knowledge in SEO and leveraging this to scale to $20, $50, $100 daily will be the ultimate goal.
So now you all know the plan here is what I have done so far and what I Intend to get done.
Completed so far:
Write a brief plan
Purchase a domain from Google Domains -$20
Purchase WordPress Premium -$132
Create Twitter and TikTok accounts
Goals to complete by next week:
Get a logo
Find a hosting provider for my needs (if someone knows a good one share below
)
Setup a wordpress theme and get the skeleton of the site going, layout, pages, themes etc
Create 7 Twitter threads on the account
Analytics:
0... for now
I am allocating 18 months to reach my goal, why 18 months? My crystal ball tells me the crypto bullrun will start then
Anyways, that's my journey thread. I will change up the structure of the updates a lot as I have more information to provide, I will also reflect on the progress I have made in the last week what I did bad, what I did good etc etc.
