Today I’ll start documenting my journey on adult reddit. I’ve been a reddit user for about 10 years now. I made a subreddit about a year ago but it’s been mostly dormant until now.

The sub currently has roughly 200 members which I plan to grow. How? From my research and testing it seems the best plan of action is to upload and crosspost to relevant subs. The only issue with this is the rules of course. I was banned from one subreddit after only posting ONE time, the mod didn’t think my post was relevant so he immediately banned me with no warning. I contacted him but it doesn't seem like an unban is likely.

My skills have grown a lot since my last journey but I plan to use them responsibly so I don’t get banned.. again. In the future I plan to use a bot to automate posting and crossposting. However for now I need to curate a list of subs that fit my niche and allow me to crosspost. Some subs I still need more link karma. I’m using the subreddit finder, you can find a few on google. Then finding all relevant subs. Currently I have a list of 300 but I’m still adding more to that list. After I have the full list I’ll weed out misfit subs and check if they are still active, sub count and if cross posting is allowed. I think It’d be better to start botting with a list that I know is good.

So that’s the growth method but how will we monetize? Honestly, I’m not even sure yet. Once the sub is bigger maybe we go the rev share with an OFM route. I could also use woocommerce to make whatever the community wants. Lastly there’s CPM/affiliate where I could help the guys last longer or whatever they’re into. What do you think? Any thoughts? Thanks for reading my ramble!

Good luck with your journey. Crossposting was working great 1-2 years ago in the adult niche but now it has become very hard.

Owners of large subs are getting quite sensitive about reposting into theirs - be careful or your'll end with a banned account, which is what happened to me,

I was banned from one subreddit
Don't bother contacting them it's a waste of time if the reason is low karma create another account and post there only you need to post there badly
subreddit finder, you can find a few on google
Is there a site to find relevant NSFW sub? Please can you send me some?

Thanks for following the thread and your positive feedback everybody.

I worked on finding more subs related to crosspost and stopped once I found a list of 1k. I filtered that list down to the ones very related while keeping the sub count as high as possible. I know this will be a hard journey but I’m hoping my list of crosspost-able subs helps me slowly automate the process. I used python to run through and grab all the sub counts before I checked if I could crosspost to them. That kinda skewed my list since I started keeping the high sub count subreddits. I have about 40 ready to go, the average sub count is 1 million. I want to spend the next few days finding content and engaging with each subreddits.

Search for similar subreddit finder on google there's a bunch of them. It would be better to search one because they do get timed out.

What are you doing on this thread? Producing AI porn? What is your niche?
