Earnings yesterday: $25.12
This was a shitty income day, which is much below average. The problem lies with our kindle stuff, that is aiming at European customer, especially the German market and it seems that they are buying less and less, because they cannot afford holidays so easily anymore. The other problem we are facing is the bad exchange rate Euro to Dollar, which has hit us since February this year.
So I will explan our income streams in more detail:
1. videoclips: This is by far the most Passive way of earning money. I was sitting on lots of clips where I own the rights, so what I did two years ago was submitting all the clips to one agency and some of them to a second one. Now Africa comes into play again, I could not upload the clips, so I had to burn them on DVD and send them by snail mail. They uploaded the clips and I had to keyword and title them (which I hate like hell), so I did not put much effort into this but still it makes a steady income of around 100 to 150$ per month, depending on the season, with absolutely no effort on my side - no promotion at all, let them sit and they sell themselves. If you have any idea on how to promote them, suggestions welcomed.
2. Basically the same is true for photos. My wife makes it, it is actually her business. As she hasto do all the housework and cooking
-) she has only got a few online which bring in a steady 30 - 50$ a month, also absolutely Passive.
3. Cafepress merchendise. I am not really convinced about it, we made literally millions of products with our photos (automatic modus), and they bring in about 20$ a month, but honestly, we did not put too much effort into it, I only promote it on twitter a little bit, thats it. Maybe you could get more out of it but I have no plan so far.
4.Kindle Books: I already mentioned the problems we have at the moment, month ago we made around 400 $ a month, but now it is about 250$ - I have to make a plan. Promotion via twitter.
5. Print versions: Interesting that the print versions are not so much effected, they are more or less the same over the last years, so maybe a minus of 15% in sales. I have to make a plan as well. Promoted via twitter.
6. Travel websites with unique content. As you can imagine we never run out of content, so they are already almost authority blogs in their niche. They are monetized with adsense bringing in around 60$ per month, but only if I promote them heavily on twitter. I never cared about ranking them, so I hardly get any search traffic, the only thing I did is onpage seo, but never link building.
7. With the Autoblogging I only started three weeks ago, but am surprised that they work somehow. A blog is set up within n hour, and they only autoblog affiliate links (Amazon, Ebay) to social media.
8. Youtube videos. I uploaded short clips around 1 minutes length about 500 up and since then they bring in money. I do a little promotion via twitter, when they were new they earned on average 20$ adsense per DAY, for about half a year and then dropped to about 2$ a day.
9. Lingerie sites: They are on autoblog as well, since 5 weeks and they do surprisingly well, monetized with amazon affiliate and since three days ebay affiliates, and I sold already last month 20 sexy thongs, which I consider success, as when I tried with travel, they made nada over two years.
10. Porn sites: These 3 sites are our youngest children, which we enjoy very much. They are autoblogs as well and are monetized with plugrush (getting 1$ a day from the beginning on, although not much traffic at the moment), with crakrevenue, income nothing so far and chaturbate made us the first 1$ in the last three days.
11. CPA: I had some success with a travel newsletter, which made 5$ per day on average, but unfortunately, it is no longer for promotion.
Whats my work today:
My promotion to twitter I do with a VPS and a twitter bot, but I am not satisfied. I tried several bots and they were all crap, not beeing able to SIMULTANOUSLY manage more than 20 tasks, although the VPS has 8 GB RAM and 4 cores and works on 16% load CPU and 20% RAM. So yesterday installed another bot (MASSPLANER) and I set up the schedules today. Will see how that works.
