Let's present my project !
Why are you doing this ?
I start this project as I want to have a step in a niche that I plan to exploit in the near future. Instagram will be my gateway to lead people to my other projects. I do thjs in order to make some income in quite a passive way and by doing what I like !
What does the page looks like ?
The page has now 334 followers, it had 324 when I started it, I gained those followers from a personnal project and transformed the page. My engagement is awful as most followers are probably not active anymore.
The page focuses on reposting pictures, and giving information about a specific passion.
How are you growing it ?
I do follow/unfollow manually. Around 50 new follows and 50 unfollows each day.
I have a hashtag users can use to get reposted on the page. The niche is really active and a lot of users are desperated for exposure so I really hope that the hashtag will get some traction to the page once the page has more followers.
Users that I repost can repost me in their stories. I try to aim for small users that will be happy about being reposted and will share it in their story. This can lead to new followers.
I also do informative stories once a week. They dig deep into a specific aspect of the niche and are then in my highlights. Once my highlights will be full of informations, more people will be influed to follow me as they will identify me as a serious page.
I manually like 100 post of targeted users each day, and i leave a few comments a day.
I activate notifications to big pages in my niche and I leave a funny comment, or an interesting one with hopes of other people clicking on my profile and following me. The comments I write here are high quality and well researched. Writing simply "nice great shot" wont get people curious about who wrote it.
What will be the milestones and what new things will you start once you reach them ?
1000 followers: I will start doing battles between my follower's pictures. They will probably ask their followers for a vote and therefore lead people to my page which will get me story views and interactions.
5000 followers: I will try to sell my first features for $5. I might also do a fake giveaway... could lead a lot of people to follow me but not sure they will still engaged afterwards...
10k followers: I will start selling tshirts with aesthetic or funny graphics about the niche which will probably sell well if my community is very engaged.
25k followers: Will try to sell one feature a day for 20$. Will start my other projects (youtube channel, blog about the niche).
50k followers: Will drink champagne and start dreaming big. Will push my other projects on the page and keep running it. I will host weekly photography about the niche contests with prizes to win.
100k followers: Will start another page dedicated to niche clothing brand with original graphics and very focused on my users tastes.
